24.01.2022 Need to find 8 friends and try this!

19.01.2022 Koombana Bay has a new dolphin calf! This little one was born on the 13th January and so far, things are going swimmingly. To keep it that way, it’s important i...f you see the calf and its mum in the bay, give them plenty of space and avoid feeding them. It’s an offence to feed fauna without a licence. 18.01.2022 When you embrace an emotion ahead of the actual experience in your environment, you're signaling the gene ahead of the environment and your gene begins to chang...e your protein expression, which means you've literally become the very person you want to be My research team and I found that in just four days of regular meditation during an advanced retreat, the gene for neurogenesisthat’s the growth of new neurons in response to novel experiences and learningwas activated. What we now know empirically is that no matter how much time you put in, just like exercise, meditation is a practicethe more you do it, the better you get at it, and just as if you were training to get in shape, ten minutes is better than no minutes. So why not grow your brain so that you have more of the very raw materials in your brain to create, invent, dream, learn, remember, and improve your mind and awareness? We are doing a live stream where we will teach you this formula in depth. To learn attend the live stream and learn more click here: bit.ly/TheFormulaLivestream See more

18.01.2022 Three new bike lockers have been installed on Albert St Busselton, to enable cyclists to secure their bikes when using public transport or visi...ting the town centre. Use of the lockers is simple: Availability is on a first come, first served basis The cyclist secures the locker on the outside, using the cyclist’s own D-lock. The City’s continued investment in end of trip facilities such as bike lockers and bike parking responds to the objective of enabling alternative transport choices identified in the Strategic Community Plan. Cycling is inexpensive, carbon free, and offers a wealth of mental and physical wellbeing benefits. Department of Transport cycling data reported a steady increase in cycling participation during COVID-19 restrictions throughout Western Australia, which highlights the community value of well-designed cycling and walking infrastructure. During the 2020/21 financial year, in partnership with the Department of Transport and the Water Corporation, the City will construct a 2.1km shared path at a cost of $640,000 connecting the Vasse section of the Wadandi track directly to the coast, on land within the Buayanup River Drain reserve. If you’re inspired to give cycling a try, a used bike is the ideal place to start, but before you buy, visit this website to ensure it’s not stolen property : www.bikelinc.com.au .

17.01.2022 I'm feeling a bit nostalgic. Tonight is the Budget. Maybe this Liberal Government's last budget. Here is a comic I did for this Liberal Government's first budge...t in 2014. That budget by PM Tony Abbott and Treasurer Joe Hockey was infamously cruel - but a truer reflection of what Libs want to do than the budget tonight, which will be a softer sweetiepie budget to try and win/buy votes. #Budget19 #auspol #tbt #5longyears See more

05.01.2022 The Nakasendo Way explores one of Japan's ancient highways, the Nakasendo literally 'the road through the mountains'. The tour starts in Kyoto, an ancient cap...ital and cultural epicentre of Japan, and follows some of the best preserved parts of the old road deep into the mountains. In its heyday in the seventeenth century, the Nakasendo was crowded with travellers, including feudal lords, samurai, itinerant merchants and pilgrims. Now largely forgotten and quiet, the road provides a pleasant path through scenic countryside and, also, the history of Japan. We pass through and stay in picturesque, old post towns on route in much the same way that the Japanese traveller of old did. Charming, traditional inns, which have somehow survived into the modern world, provide us with friendly and atmospheric overnight accommodation. In the evenings, in an ambience reminiscent of Hiroshige's woodblock prints of feudal Japan, we relax and enjoy excellent meals. See more

05.01.2022 What are your favourite things to do and see in Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park? This park is one of WA’s most loved and scenic holiday spots, with rugged lim...estone sea cliffs and windswept granite headlands dominating the coastline, interspersed by curving beaches, sheltered bays and long, rocky shorelines. Wildlife watching, visiting caves, surfing, hiking, camping and fishing are all popular activities in the park. Parks and Wildlife Service ranger Suzanne Trigwell
