19.01.2022 Today was the perfect day for Tiff to run Tania through a pilot refresher course. Ms W was more than happy to be a passenger for a quick spin around the block to feel the wind in her hair! If you, or someone you know would love to spend time riding around our community, making new friends and sharing your stories....then contact Tania on 0428146835 to ask about becoming a pilot.
17.01.2022 On the 15th November we thought we'd take the bike out for a quick spin before the heat permanently sets in. We thought we'd avoid the trucks by taking the back streets and stopping to watch the trucks heading to Viterra! The residents enjoyed counting all the wheels and were amazed at how farming has changed over the years!
17.01.2022 Yesterday was a day of treats. Firstly we had Mrs Fitzgerald in the trishaw along with her great grandson Freddie. The second treat was the weather. Spring has certainly sprung and you could smell the flowering blossoms and warmed the bones in the sunshine. Third treat was an icecream stop at IGA. Fourth treat was when Hayley Fitz jumped into the trishaw with us for a slow lap around part of town. Fifth treat was a cup of tea at the railway triangle for Mrs Fitzgerald. What a grand day out. Cycling Without Age Cummins is in partnership with IGA, Bascombe AutoAg, Cummins Bearings and Engineering, District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula and Peter Treloar MP to keep our volunteer driven rides 'fee free' for our elderly and not so able in our Cummins community.
14.01.2022 Any current or pending trishaw pilots who would like to update their First Aid skills?
12.01.2022 Thursday 12/9/19 was another first! Norm got to have his first ride with his wife Desma on their 68th wedding anniversary! What a way to spend the occasion and enjoy the beautiful warm weather! Ona and Anne also got out and about again after the winter spell. This docile baby sleepy lizard was on the road right in front of us so we rescued him to the footpath! What a lovely day all round!

06.01.2022 Mrs B had a Queens ride today. We headed just out of town to see if we could watch a plane take off or land. Unfortunately our timing was a bit out and we were there in between the planes doing their thing. We watched butterflies dance in the air, picked daises to bring home and visited Mrs B’s church cemetery. It’s a beautiful day to be outside.
05.01.2022 NEXT Sunday 22nd. Byo coffee. We’ll supply the cake for our birthday at the Railway triangle. Please indicate if you’re able to come so we can make sure we have plenty of cake
