24.01.2022 Hi world, With the stage 4 lockdown for a lot of people walking the only daily activity that get us out of the house and desk chair. Its been a long 5 months and a lot of us can feel that the daily walk isn't as enjoyable as it used to be. So why not ramp up the motivation and our daily steps for a great cause STEPTEMBER.... I had the pleasure a few years back to work with and inspirational man Michael Perry who has cerebral palsy since forever. He took a leap of faith on me as a coach, made me a better coach and a better human. In my 18months working with Michael I have never heard him ever winge or complain and his hard work was an inspiration for a lot of people. So if getting out, getting off your chair, couch or out of bed is feeling hard at the moment, bare a thought for people for which daily task can be hard... Join me this September and walk for a great cause. If you have been struggling to get your daily exercise in and find all excuses not to....this is the occasion to do something for you and give back. Join my organisation "CYTraining" on the Steptember website and donate a little something to help find a cure and assist people with cerebral palsy. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10159134547513338&id=601148337 See more

23.01.2022 WOOAZZZAAAA ... How is that for inspiration . I didn't have any other words when this incredible girl sent me this .... @bonniebuchanan started running earlier in the year, just for pleasure, to help ease her mind, and obviously push her self a bit more than she probably ever expected . When the lockdown happened I gave her a home strength and conditioning program specific for her running. She wasn't to sure how much she would adhere doing her strength work from home (like a lot of other people). We tweaked her running schedule a little adding a few fartlek (pace interval) sessions without making her feel like she had to do it (kept the pleasure of running feels a priority) . After 3 cycles of strength and her enjoying each and every run she shredded nearly 15mins of her 10km time trial with an average pace per km of 1.5m faster . Did I mentioned this girl is in her 3rd year of Osteopath and smashing life . Very proud and grateful to be part of your journey. Keep up the amazing work lovely See more

23.01.2022 What do you think about the most Mindset? . Mindset... . The ability we possess to chose which attitude to have towards any situation ... Yes you and only are in control of your thoughts and imagination . I said imagination because a lot of us probably most of us are good at just imagining and making assumptions regarding a situation, a conversation, others thoughts or perceptions of us . Our mind is our best weapon . It can be our strongest ally or our worst enemy . The way we use it, making the most out of each situations, good or bad . The way we think and how we react to our environment, people, particular situation is our choice, our control. No matter how bad a situation can be, turn it to your advantage, stay positive, learn the lesson, move on, grow . Remember "you are what you repeatedly do, excellence therefore is not an act but a habit" . Same as happiness Create your happiness, be kind to yourself and let yourself blossom . 22.01.2022 Monday reminder . With everyone spending a bit [lot] more time on social media and a lot less time busy....it can lead to us leaving through what other share on social media . Remember that tiny tiny tiny idy bity glimpse that people share on SM platform is not the reality of their life. Be inspired by what you see or watch but do NOT compare what you see to who you are and what you have... . Ask yourself if they were gonna share 24/7 do you think it would be the same.... remember we are all human and perfection is a self opinion over something . Reminder: We all feel We all We all watch We all have our & We all move differently We all spend our free times differently We all have We are humans . Be inspired, be driven, be worthy....be the one who believes in you See more

22.01.2022 Be present look into the future YOUR future... . Be inspired and motivated from your past and lessons learned . Reflect on who you were, where you were at, the good times, the not so good times. BUT do not live your present life in your past .... Be who you are now, inspire by who you were, to become the best version of yourself everyday to come . U do U and you've got this See more

22.01.2022 Work on your weaknesses... . Single leg kettlebell deadlift Improves - Balance ... - Stability - Glute activation - Core and trunk control - Muscle firing sequence - Strength - Proprioception Thats a lot of of aproval for one exercise . Challenge yourself, practice the exercises that challenge you . Be like @robbie_waite and work on yur weakness and appreciate the gains for your strength, movement pattern and more . Use this time while in isolation, when most of us don't have access to heavy weight training, to strengthen your foundations and balance your body See more

20.01.2022 Your thought process will become your reality... . Any negative thinking or self talk can hijack the way you perceive yourself and anything you wish to accomplish . The way we think is a result of habits or conditioned thoughts. This doesn't mean we cannot control them or change them .... Someone said to me "You can only sweep the dirt under a rug for so long until you trip" (probably one of the best advice I ever received ) this applies to your thoughts to . If we have been conditioned to think a certain way, this mean you can be conditioned to change that thought process to . Identifying the source and/or cause(s) of those thoughts can be demanding and painful. There is nothing more demanding and powerful then been 100% true and bare with yourself. No rounding the corners, or under the table reward. Just pure honesty about who you are, what you do, how you conduct yourself, what person you put out there to the world. You will discover part of you, you wish didn't exist but also embrace the best parts. But do it for yourself, create awareness in within you. Be honest with yourself, be humble, laugh at yourself, embrace and learn from the mistakes, embrace the good times, and don't fool yourself or neither make excuses. Face your evils and learn to tame them, show them how good of a person you can be, show them how capable you are, show them your strength, show them the best version of yourself, the one you created for you learning from them and not the person you might of become because of them. Don't blame them, face them . We all have a fire within us, but it's up to us to keep fueling it and live our best life or to let it fade away. Create and become the best version of yourself . It all starts with your inner thoughts. Don't let your evils control you. Work on yourself, learn everyday, surround yourself with positive empowering people and most of all be kind to yourself, embrace all victories and be patient through the tough time . Because your are worth it. But that is all up to you to believe it . See more

19.01.2022 YOUR BODY SIZE OR SHAPE DOES NOT DEFINE WHO ARE OR WHO YOU WANT BECOME... . Read that again . trigger post... . People think you have to look the part to be a coach, get clients, provide health and fitness services.... . We live in such a judgemental and comparative state kind of world, that if we don't look a certain way, wear certain type of clothes, be a certain size, have the latest style....we feel like we dont fit in or worse dont belong . The fitness industry is saturated with trainer and coaches rocking the 6pack, perfect pauses, latest fashion trend, "perfect body", selling the latest trend, promoting unrealistic standards...But NO real people skills, knowledge about anatomy, movement, body, strength, mindset... . As a coach it can feel like I dont belong in this industry, I dont have a 6pack, I am no size 6 or neither the perfect booty shots or photo "ten thousands time filtered" . I am as normal and realistic a human being can be. I have been 108kg and I have been 67kg, I have had the 6 pack. I am currently carrying an extra 15kg than I would like to be(nothing to do with covid). And to be honest yes I hate it, I hate looking at photos, videos of me demonstrating exercises, I feel self conscious and it makes me doubt me as a person. Why? Because even if I am conscious of it, a side of me lives in that comparative state . But beside my squeeshiness looks I am the same person that if I was even 25kg lighter or with a 6pack... Being a good human or my ability to be a great coach, provide appropriate program, adaptation, cueing, support to my team during their bestest day but also through their lowest, been a motivator and I'd like to think an inspiration for people DOES NOT depend on the size of my @ss or my clothes or the number on the scale . We all chase different goals ( amen to being different) but if you are looking after true happiness, the way you feel deep inside, stop making all your decisions and choices in your life around physical specifics; because thats all of the outside . Health comes in all different shape or form. Your mental health should not depend on your physical looks. Remember "everyone is fighting a battle that no one knows about" . Its easy to make the cover pretty but if the story isn't worth telling you will end up with blank pages . Don't judge a book by its cover . Be #U4U See more

19.01.2022 Never under estimate the power of one question asked with genuine kindness" . Everyone is battling something big or small it doesnt matter, we all deal with life's ups and downs in our own ways. Make sure you look after your mates, loved ones, a collegue... One simple gesture, 3 words can change someones day from worse to better .... I shared this two years ago...today after nearly 3 years of work with my own mental awareness and roller coaster emotional ride . I feel like a day like today is essential to create awareness for mental illness but its each and everyday we should ask the question. Its everyday we should look after each other. Give a hand when needed. Offer a non judgemental ear to listen to someone else's trouble. Sometime a shoulder to lean or cry on. We have a responsibility toward each other. We are social creature who need each other and thrive to be the best version of ourselves. But we spend most of our times competing, comparing, judging and even tearing other people down to make ourselves feel or look better. The world needs more kindness, respect, support towards one another. We need to learn to give more and take less. You would be surprise how rewarding it is to know you might of put a smile on some else's face, or that you might have turned someone's day around. Be kind, be supportive each and everyday. 13.01.2022 You don't need to lift heavy weight all of the time to stay strong . Suspensions training are a one of my favourite accessory tool that we use regularly . Suspension are great to challenge strength, stability, mobility... . Use the situation we have been thrown in to challenge yourself with something new and focus on your mobility, stability, movement patter, primers and unilateral exercises . Once gyms reopen and we can play again with bigger and/or more complex lifting your body will be more balance and ready to take on new loads and programming . @andronicus2077 showing great form doing suspension push ups . #gobacktothebasics See more

13.01.2022 What my client's get out of training is my biggest reward... . Some kind words from one of my member . "I have been training with Aude for a few years now & she is always educating me on new techniques & form to help me move & build my strength in my body.... When I begun with Aude I couldn’t do much due to ongoing back pain but I can move freely & attempt every exercise safely as I’m supported by Aude to do so. She is always adapting & changing to suit my needs & help me train. Aude is very supportive even during COVID I was still supported & felt I kept motivated & moving with Aude’s tailored program. I highly recommend Aude for a knowledgeable local trainer that works to meet your needs & supports you to pain free movement" @jo_anneserra Thank you . 12.01.2022 Mindset ....timely appropriate . What's your bed time routine? . How you go to sleep, the state of mind you are in, the feelings that are running through you, what are your last thoughts before drifting to dreamland ... . All those will affect the way you sleep and more will impact how you feel when you wake up . Most of us have a morning routine, how we get ready to start our days, habits we have and do on a daily morning basis . It should be the same with looking after your sleep. Prepare yourself before recharging the batteries. That is it meditating , stretching , reading ... Do something that brings calming and peaceful feel . In stressful or overwhelming circumstances, reminding ourselves of all the good thing we do have in our lives, been grateful for for what we have and been able to look at situation from another angle to see opportunity #stopblaming2020 #starttobegrateful #thinkbettersleepbetter #mindrecovery See more

Now just go and do it.... . Enjoy the moment and appreciate every millisecond of it . . #findyourpeace #grateful #appreciatethemoment See more

08.01.2022 Today's feeling . Today was the day the world send me all the excuses possible for me not to do my scheduled training . It is cold ... It has been a lot I didnt have a great sleep w I was due for a meal once I finished coaching I am sore from my sprint session from yesterday Today's volume is the biggest i have to do so far . All the narrative we tell ourselves . At the end of the day that i do my sessions or not, the only person who will be disappointed and not getting the outcome expected is ME . I am no child and that goal I set myself it is for me no one else. If I dont get the times I set to get on race day, I AM responsible for it. Not my coach, not my circumstances, myself is to be accountable for the hours I put into Training Recovery Nutrition Mindset If the boxes got ticked off properly along the way and I followed the process, race day should be the reward . Its the same that your goal is to lose weight, get stronger, rehab, prepare for a particular event, lift specific numbers, whatever goal you want achieve....it is yours to chose to take on, it is your responsibility to stick to it and make it happened . I am not saying it will easy, I am not saying everyday you will be motivated or you will have the energy. But if that goal matters to YOU, and you know it will make you a Better More empowered Proud Happy person to achieve it....then you will find the time to make it work and get the job done . You might have to give yourself a slightly longer time frame , THAT'S OK, don't compare yourself to others timeline . You might have to make difficult changes in your social, personal or professional life, THAT'S OK, to create change you will have to do what you haven't done before . You will be judged and called selfish, THAT'S OK, this is your life, you are the one living it not them . You will feel lonely at time, THAT'S OK, be comfortable to spend time discovering and understanding you and embracing who you are and who you could become . You will fail and want quit, THAT'S OK, Grit is learned through failure and struggle . But you've got this See more

08.01.2022 Grateful for the world we get to live in . Appreciate the little things and take some time to stop and be grateful for living

07.01.2022 What's your favorite form of exercise??? . Just keep moving... .... Having a bad day move Feeling stiff move Feeling lethargic move Lacking motivation move Struggle with concentration move . If you are having an amazing day already just keep moving and make it even better . Motion impact as much your physical, physiological and psychological health . To keep it simple, moving impact how your body feels itself (physical state) which will impact all reactions in within your body (physiological state) which leads to an emotional response from your endocrine system (psychological state) . Look after your self inside and out keep moving in any shape or form that talks positive to you . See more

06.01.2022 Are you using the correct muscle when pulling? . Here we have @Andrea Burke demonstrating the difference . Single arm pull down is a great unilateral exercise to improve lat activation, glenohumeral joint control. We use it as a primer with bands and tempo work and as an accessory to build strength with a bit more load... . Due to lifestyle, desk work, stress, most people upper trap are locked short or dominant through movement which create weakness in engagement in the mid/low trap and lats . The left side shows a very common mistake through pull exercises. You can see the shoulder, on the end range, is forwardly internally rotated, upper trap and scap levator (elevator of the scapula) are dominant and pulling the scapula and shoulder upward, resulting in inhibition of the lats (close to no lat activation or engagement). You can see her elbow travelled back and up, she is pulling from her biceps, which result on internal forward rotation of the joint (slide video 1) . In opposite to the right side where Andrea's shoulder is away from her ear, scapula and shoulder are set back, she engaged her mid and lower trap to set her scap in the correct position, inhibiting upper trap and levator scap, allowing the lats to do they job and creating the pull, elbow has travelled down and stopped right by her side (slide video 2) . Tips for more engagement/feel pause in the squeeze and tempo the ecentric part of the movement . Do you suffer from neck or back pain? struggle through movement with proper muscle engagement? . Book in for a free movement and postural assesment . Move better, feel better, live stronger with CYTraining See more

05.01.2022 One step at a time one a front of the other.... you've got this . Surround yourself with the people who understand you, who are truthful with you and will push you to keep going no matter how many hurddles the world and life put a front of you . You've got this

04.01.2022 Just do the right thing and try to be a good human . I would of thought that more people would just get on with things and stop arguing and complaining about what they can't change . We are in this situation not by choice and we cannot control this virus. What we can control is our thought process towards the situation and what is in our power to do to keep ourselves, loves ones, and even strangers safe... . Imagine for a sec, you test positive... you have passed it on to friends or people because you thought you are young and healthy and safe...go imagine a bit further...your friend acfually moved back with their parents and one of them has caught it and that loved one is really ill and is now in hospital fighting for their life....now think about how you will fall asleep at night when your friend is losing a loved one because you thought its not that bad . Just be a good human and for once in your life just do the right thing not just for yourself but for everyone else because if you don't you might the one everyone points the finger at and think because of you . Learn and grow from this, turn it into an experience of self growth and experiment. Use your energy and thought process wisely. What habit you create now no matter what it is, you will carry it way after this pandemic finishes. So don't become a windger, a winder, a conspirationist because other do so and its easier to just criticise from the outside than actually trusting that this is the best option so far and we need to try to get on with our lives . Stay safe everyone See more

03.01.2022 Lead by example.... . Whatever I demand of my clients and I expect it of myself everyday . Also i absolutely understand how hard the current times can be to keep a routine and "motivation... . Its during this time that we build resilience and discipline . Resilience is what's gonna keep you going through hard time . Discipline is what makes you do what you've got to do at that point in time whatever the circumstances . I have struggled to get into a routine and keep at it thank God I have an amazing friend @nikee87 who keeps my routine in check. Nearly everyday we face time and train in our respective garage at the same time . So find yourself a buddy or a few buddies organise some times put those in your calendar and make those appointments . Remind yourself how good you felt when the gym was open and you had a weekly plan....now keep that feeling in mind and set yourself a plan to get back to that good feeling .
