23.01.2022 Throwback to 4 years ago when we first moved into Coco Place. Wow how times have changed.

23.01.2022 At d3 we are truly heartbroken by the catostrophic bushfires that currently engulf our beautiful country. It is hard to watch the footage of so much devastation and grief. We feel for all those affected by these tragic events, and will provide support as best we can from our safe haven. We are also incredibly proud of all the brave souls that volunteer to protect and serve others. These men and women are true heroes through their selfless acts. There has been much talk ab...out the contributing factors to these castastrophic fire conditions and the political debate will be ongoing. It is increasingly difficult to deny the reality of climate change and global warming as one of the major contributors. Climate change is real and we need to make changes immediately if we are to turn things around. Our building and construction industries currently contribute approximately 38% of the total carbon emissions into our atmosphere. This is huge and unacceptable. There has to be another way. In 2019, our Director David undertook intense research and training and we are now armed with the knowledge to significantly reduce the carbon emissions and running costs on our projects. As certified passive house design consultants we can advice you of all the benefits of investing in our future, through sustainable, healthy and efficient building techniques and systems. 17.01.2022 COVID - 19 UPDATE While the Australian Government, the Chief Health Officer and our amazing health service workers do their best to kept our communities safe we all move into unchartered territory. At D3 Building Design we are fortunate to be able to continue working on any current and new projects from our home offices. Most meetings will also be able to be conducted online. Enforced shut downs will obviously have us spending more time with our families and within our homes.... The associated slow down will be one of the positives to come out of this current situation. Parents who push through tough days to continue being the person they want to be for the sake of their families. Children who should be playing and going to school with their friends but are back and forth from hospitals, to unwell to just be kids.
