25.01.2022 The loss of identify and direction after having a child.. or two. I'm pretty sure I mentioned before - in my twenty's I was just lucky. A right-place, right-time kinda girl. I was confident. Charismatic. I fucking sparkled. And I unashamedly knew it. Some people thought I was an asshole. Others, the sun shone out of it. Me? I didn't care.... For some doing a PhD becomes a journey of empowerment, for me, it striped me to the core. I never went for that post-doc role because I was so disenchanted with academia after the experience. But the biggest shake up to Michelle the Lucky was having kids. in my 30s as I headed onto my 6th line roof space, having two kids back to back, in less than perfect births. Actually, lets not dress this up... they were fucking traumatic and I ended up battling years of PTSD yet denying the diagnosis. This coupled with my new found desire to give give give every ounce of everything I had, energy love, sleep, breastmilk, energy (did i say energy) and information - It wasn't long before I burnt myself out. I was pretty apathetic about life. I only had energy before noon and if i was out i rushed home before 12 like a daytime Cinderella to have a nap. With this loss of energy, and ongoing fatigue came a loss of purpose. I thought I was going to become and academic, a famous nutritionist, an amazing wife. Instead, I became this horrible snappy panda eyed- sleep deprived paranoid bitch. Soon after my second son was born I discovered human design and began to look ferociously at the chart to find my life purpose. And all I could manage was to wait, and respond. It was slow. It was very slow. I wanted to learn all the stuff but, I couldn't. My brain capacity was at 2% and energy close behind. Continued in comments

24.01.2022 You are running around all day (even in ISO?). Doing all the things for everyone else and you never seem to be getting any time for yourself. To do the things you love, you know the ones you used to do that bring you joy. When you ask others for help- you draw blanks from their eyes as they don't even seem to hear you. You can feel the frustration because you know that just picking up one thing in the house would help. Let's not mention emptying the dishwasher - or changing t...he toilet roll... And it is wearing you down. That feeling of being responsible for everyone. You are exhausted And, if you had the energy, you would running away and leaving them all to it. I know how you feel - this was me a few years ago. I did everything for my husband and my kids and the rest..... I would agree to do everything for everyone else - when I really did not want to. I took on more than I should. And I ended up resenting my family, friends and those close to me. Because they kept loading it on to me. They didn't know I didn't want to help. Nor did I have the energy any more to help. I never told them. I was burnt out. When I first discovered human design I realised that I was a serial over-committer. I agreed because I didn't know how to say no. I didn't have the confidence in myself that I wouldn't offend someone if I didn't offer to help. Or turned down (yet another) playdate, party or family event that I never craved to go to in the first place. It's the same in any field. Everyone wants all the advanced stuff before they have mastered drawing a straight line. Learn how to cook. Learn what ingredients do.... By default I am social but I quickly scurry away to the safety of my cave.. when I'm "peopled out".... I love people. I love watching them. Observing... What they do next. I've always had a fastination with myths, legends um the occult mysteries. I feel unnaturally different from my peers. As an infant I surrounded by self with elders, a child those who were left out, or alone. The different ones. Those were my people. I was teased for being clever. Because being bright or gifted is never cool. I faded my light for them. Fool. 18.01.2022 My life purpose is not what I do My unique contribution to the world is what I work at - or so I thought.. I have an open G Centre. this is the centre for love, direction, and you guessed it purpose.... The G Centre has many themes but the one that I see most often with clients is the theme of if I am who I truly am people will not love me. In some cases this shows up as a fear, or it's not safe to show the world who they are. Much of the time it can show up as feeling like a fraud or impostor in their line of work. And certainly all of these have been true for me at some point in my life. getting into the high school I wanted - fraud Getting into the University I wanted - someone made a mistake Getting into Grad School - I will get kicked out when they find out who I really am On getting married - Hubby will abandon me when he finds out what I am really like. More recently my inner story teller has been telling me that my inner purpose is to help people. That what I do with human design, quantum alignment and the other many modalities is my purpose. But I am not my career. I am not what I do. I am not my titles. Degrees, accolades. When I started to peel back the layers and work out where this stuff was coming from... my life purpose became a whole heap clearer. I am my purpose. Me being authentically who I am is what my life purpose is . It took me what feels like Eons to work this out. Firstly, by using human design as a guide to show me the potential of what I can be. 11.01.2022 As a kid (and as an older kid), I indulge in reading of myths, legends. I love how there is a theme through each of the stories. How a hero has to battle demons to save the day, a friend, or even themselves. The last few days have been a nightmare for me emotionally. A deer came into our garden which was really ill. He had been in for a few nights then left at dawn... but I hadn't seen him or how unwell he was until Tuesday morning. I had to try to keep him in the garden whil...e we waited on the "shooter" to come and help him. One of the women from WIRES (the animal rescue peeps) told me that he was responding to my voice and that i needed to talk to him. I started to sing to him. He lay down beside the hedge and he started to relax. When the time came. I waited and watched until he passed. I have been feeling heart broken ever since. As a kid I used to rescue sick birds and animals the neighbours cat took a play with. At one point I wanted to be a vet. When it came to work experience at school, I asked a local vet if I could come and work with him for a few days. He laughed at me. He said, I was too small. How could I ever work with great beasts. And here I am this week. Standing Face to Face with a frightened stag singing to him. I have been left wondering what would have happened to me if I had became a vet? Would I have still ever ended up here? I guess I will never know Thinking back, to the myths and legends. I have been wondering what the significance of the deer is in my life... 10.01.2022 I realised today that life is pretty much like kayaking. You can point straight course but current, tide and wind all play a part in taking you a different way. You can do little course corrects along the way or one big one at the end. Or ( my favourite) paddle away from where you are hoping to get, the use the natural forces to propell you where you had planned according to their will.... My only goal today was to go sea kayaking. 09.01.2022 This quote popped up in my FB memories today. When I was struggling quite a bit inside, other people kept telling me about how amazing I was, how I had such a gift in what I did. Truth is I didn't see it.... I knew in my heart I wanted to help others but this amazing person other people saw... Well it just wasn't me? Other people saw a light in me that clearly I couldn't see myself. I didn't want to market my business, I didn't want to me seen. I told myself a never ending story that noone liked me or needed me. This aura of negatively was pushing clients away. And also people I loved. When I discovered human design and started to respond to things, this hazy cloud in my personal mirror started to disappear. I found myself singing a song we sung at church as a kid .. " this little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine". I remember thinking at the time... Where is this coming from ... I haven't been to church in an age! So I dismissed it. I remember reaching a point where the difference in how others seen me, and the loathing I had for myself was so strong, I had to do something about it. I remember the feeling in my body- a massive lurch in my gut. Now was the time. No sooner had I physically committed my body, my phone pinged. My projector friend tagged me .... A course on body image -by design. ....... My chest started to tingle.. and radiate (a feeling I still feel when I am coaching today). I jumped on it. Unsure. Scared. Not knowing what I was leaping into. My mind told me as a nutritionist I was learning something for my clients...what my body was telling me was I was about to meet my soul, and my whole life was about to change. The key focus of the course was on body image and the modality used was Quantum Alignment. In those 12 weeks, with other woman by my side I tore of layer and layer of buried trauma and years of pain. With each layer, I could see Michelle again clearer. That was 3 years ago. Last year I trained in the technique that saved my life, my business and my soul. I didn't do the training to help others .... I thought I was doing that training to help me.... It is funny how your mind can trick you... And here I am....

08.01.2022 When I discovered I was a 6th line profile and "destined to be a role model", I started to freak out. I continually was on the search to work out what my life purpose was so that I could fulfil it. It became all-consuming. I thought about it day and night. NO, I worried about it day and night. If I didn't live out my life purpose I was letting myself down, no my kids, my family NO NO NO. If I didn't fulfil my life's purpose I was letting the WORLD DOWN. It got very big and s...cary for me pretty quick. And rather than turn up every day to interact in the world, I just hid. It is so much safer to hide than to have to do this big thing, that I had no idea what it was, in case I couldn't do it and let everyone down. Talk about overwhelm, being hesitant to do ANYTHING just in case I would get it wrong and screw up my karma I got all caught up in my head. I stopped following my strategy and inner authority. And I started chasing all the crazy nonsense that my mind was telling me. Do you ever get like that? When you get distracted, and you start pushing for things to happen, you get sucked down every rabbit hole of info that appears trying to make it fit your life. I guess that's where human design has been a game-changer for me. 06.01.2022 In my 20s I was super intuitive. Decisive. Things just magically happened for me. I was called "lucky". Always at the right place at the right time. What I didn't know then but I know now is that I was going through an experimental period of my life (6 line profiles go through this in the first 30ish years of their life- they behave like a 3). When I reached my 30s, in a different country and 2 kids under 2 things looked decided "different". I was going on the roof.... A peri...od of introspection 6-liners go through until they are about 50ish. It is a time to integrate all the learnings of your first part of your life. To me.. I felt broken, abandoned and alone. Not all 6s experience it this way. This is my story. And what I'm learning from these experiences is that, I was able to seek out opportunities to heal myself from this destructive game my mind was playing. By responding to things that happened and what people said to me. And it is this great wisdom, from being own my own journey, I am blessed to be able to share today. Having an inbuilt curiosity and adventure compass, I always ended up on the most wondrous (mis-)adventures (indeed I have wondered how I made it to adulthood alive). Im Michelle Fitzmaurice, a deep-mind... explorer, writer, coach, and ex-fire dancer living in a small bush-beach suburb of Sydney, with my Hubby and two sons. 04.01.2022 Parts of the chart. The human design mandala encompasess many different philosophies and metaphysical guidance. If you look at the mandala, you might see the chakra system, astrology, Kaballah. What I find is many people get stuck and overwhelmed trying to learn the whole system before they use it. ... However, the Key to human design is experimenting and observing what is correct for you using your strategy and authority.
