24.01.2022 Hi everyone Our Art Group spent yesterday at Pams place, where not a lot of work was done. I dont think that I blame them. The weather & view & of course catching up would have taken priority I think. Pam started a charcoal sketch, Greg worked on his Waratah watercolour, Margaret did colourful sketches of flowers and I worked on my watercolour of Towrang convict viaduct. The weather was ideal and the location superb.... So glad you all had a great day enjoying Gods gift to us. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 23.01.2022 Hi everyone Well, we might not be able to join all our friends at the Face to Face DAC Creative Connection being held today, due to many different reasons.....the main one for some of you might be the anxiety over the COVID-19 virus. Please know that we are making our Spaces as Safe as possible for you all. For Art, Cards & Patchwork/Craft we have met the COVID -19 Safety Plan for places of Worship & Gatherings, as required by The NSW Government in place. So, for those of... you that couldnt make it in person. Like me, due to a cold. We are running our Virtual Creative Connection Staying Connected Friday today. So I hope you have your work all set out next to you & have taken photos of what you have been up to. So that you can share them with us. For those of you who are not device savvy.......and arent sure how to share your photos.....you can always just Comment . We want to hear from ALL of you. Even just say hi....your name will pop up & others can then say Hello back to you. 18.01.2022 Here is another easy Face Mask Pattern. This one I think that I will make & test fit to me & hubby. I think that I might have to make them just a fraction bigger for him or maybe a fraction smaller for me. If it fits, looks easy enough to make however many we will need. It also has a pocket to fit any filter that you would like to insert. Or leave it out.

14.01.2022 So glad that we were inside today beating the heat. Another great Friday at DAC Creative Connection. Catching up with friends & being creative in our chosen crafts. As you can see by the photos we had some great project’s that have been finished or that are underway. OUR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION LUNCHES!!!! The first is on Friday 4th December. We still have 2 seats available.... The second is Friday 18th December. Totally Booked Out. And in between these is our Monthly Saturday, 12th December. This will also be a Christmas Celebration. But you will need to bring your own lunch. I did say that if you attended one of the Friday Lunches you wouldn’t be able to attend the Saturday one. We have now opened up the Waiting List for all of you on our Data Base for Saturday 12th December. 09.01.2022 Wow.... how great is it to meet again Face To Face. The beautiful smiles on everyones faces as they arrived & the even bigger smiles when they left at the end of the day. All the comments made to The Team Leaders on how much they appreciated being able to meet again. It makes it all worthwhile. We love this group to bits. We hope you enjoy our photos on Show & Tell & also photos taken during the day in the Hall & Cards Area. We also have a few from our Virtual Staying Con...nected day too. Our Art Group spent the day outdoors & I am hoping to have photos to share with you in a later Post. We would also like to thank Jill Pearce & her staff at The Cafe for the way that they always look after us. We are getting very used to having Scones with Jam & Cream for morning tea. 07.01.2022 Hi everyone, I will be combining our Creative Connection Face To Face & Virtual Days Photos in this one Post. It was so great to have those of you join us today, who havent been able to come since Covid-19 changed the way that we meet. We all had a great day in all three rooms covering Art, Cards & Patchwork/Craft. Not as much noise was heard as usual, as not as many were in the rooms, but laughter & happiness at being back could be heard even in the walkway to The Cafe ...area. And on the faces of those in our photos. I even think that some work was done on the projects that you all brought with you today. The Cafe staff cooked up Scones, Jam & Cream for Morning Tea & Pumpkin Soup or Fish & Chips for Lunch. Yum....yum...... Thank you for always looking after us. Our Virtual photos show one of you getting ready to fly on a break away, from a deserted airport & others having a great lunch break. There were a few photos of some of your projects. Lol. Just am not sure how busy most of you were working on these projects. Praying that we get to see more of you over the next few weeks. As we all try to come up with a way to feel & do things that bring back a semblance of normality, to our Covid-19 Restricted Lives. We had on display in our Show & Tell & also being worked on during the day.....Hand Embroidery, Hand Appliqué, Diamond Dotz, Dear Jane Quilt Blocks, Crocheting around Knitted Squares, Patchwork Blocks & many Finished Quilt Tops, Cushions, a Framed Brooch Art, a Wall Hanging & a Diamond Dotz Card. Beautiful work ladies. It is always great to see everyone’s work. Thank you Leeanne for taking the photos for us. ... We only have 4 more Creative Connection Days for this year. Friday 20th November. The first of our Christmas Lunches 4th December. Our Last Saturday for the year 12th December. And our Last day of the year & our Second Christmas Lunches the 18th December. If you were wanting to attend any of these please contact me ASAP to go on the waiting lists for Friday the 20th November & Saturday 12th December. 05.01.2022 Good afternoon to all those beautiful ladies who crochet. Weve been asked if it would be possible to dress two little bassinets for Playpatch. I have the mattress and pillows ready to go but wondering if anyone would be able to make two little crocheted blankets. Well, batten down the hatches & put on those winter woollies, as we are in for more of a cold snap tonight & over the weekend. At least when we have weather like this it helps us feel less guilty about sitting & doing any of our varied craft interests. Which most of us probably have quite a few. For all our PATCHWORK/CRAFT People. ... If you would like to put your name on the Waiting List for Friday 28th August, 2020 please Comment here. You can only add your name if you are on our DATA BASE, as we are not accepting any NEW people while we have the Covid-19 Restrictions in place. First preference will go to anyone who hasnt attended since we have been back. Then the less times you have been, the more chance of you getting a seat, as I work down the list. We have been very lucky as some of you have been able to come to both Fridays that we have had so far & I havent had to ring anyone & tell them that they wouldnt be able to attend.
