23.01.2022 My garden is in full bloom from the magnolias to the Camellias. The smells and colours are exquisite. I’m continually blown away by their beauty. Blessed!

23.01.2022 I highly recommend that you grow warrigal greens this spring. I live in a cold temperate climate and through winter they die down but pop back up towards the end of winter. These grow both in my food forest and my seasonal veggie patch. In my food forest they die down because they don’t like frost. In my veggie patch which is more sheltered and the frost isn’t as bad it keeps growing. These native greens are the hardiest greens I have ever grown. Try them they are delicious nutritious and resilient.

21.01.2022 Thanks everyone who came past or messaged me for our address. It got hot but they soldiered on for a few hours. They will be out again tomorrow at 9.30am with eggs and goodies.

18.01.2022 Almonds! When all your hard work of planting, nourishing, caring for your garden starts to pay off. Pure joy

17.01.2022 When your garden gives you so much herbal tea goodness, make herbal tea. Herbal tea concoction is peppermint, dehydrated strawberries, tarragon (tastes like liquorice) chamomile and calendula flowers. I harvest and then place them in brown paper to dry for a week. Should be delicious. This mix is for a present. House warming present.

16.01.2022 Winter flowers are coming to an end and spring is now well and truly in the air. I’ve designed my garden to blossom all year round. To have scents and colours far and wide throughout my garden.

14.01.2022 Picked these spigarello. It’s such an easy veggie to grow. These actually self seeded so no effort for me, just pure enjoyment cooking and eating them.

13.01.2022 https://www.unenvironment.org//10-things-you-should-know-a Every year 200 million tonnes of chemical fertiliser, 4 million tonnes of pesticide and 30 million tonnes of insecticide are dumped on the soil and the plants we eat by industrial agriculture. It is destroying soil, killing ecosystems and making us very sick. Not only is it unnecessary but it doesn’t even make economic or agricultural sense. Food grows better and soil is healthier and more productive without them. Which food would you rather eat?

10.01.2022 Geez poor mummy hen, it’s the size of an apple, it would have hurt.

03.01.2022 It’s so satisfying watching cuttings grow. One of my favourite things to do is propagating. It’s like winning a plant lotto when they take.
