25.01.2022 Our Yr 2 students were treated to an amazing show today performed by the Yr 11 Drama in Practice class from Dalby State High School. The students performed "Stay Alive Do the Five" by Laurie Lawrence. Students sang, danced and interacted with each other to learn about water safety.

In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the school year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December have been declared student free days. 20.01.2022 At Dalby State School, we follow Stop, Walk and Talk as our anti-bullying policy. This is being explicitly taught and every student will receive the same message throughout the year. If you would like to reiterate this message at home, please remind your child/children that if an incident occurs to immediately tell an adult. If students are in the playground, they are able to tell an adult in a pink vest who is on duty.

18.01.2022 SCHOOL PHOTO DAY Wednesday 3rd & Thursday 4th March, 2021 All photo payment envelopes went home with students today. This information was also emailed out. The majority of class photos and sibling photos will be taken on Wednesday 3rd March. All remaining class photos, extra-curricular and co-curricular photos will be taken on Thursday 4th March. Please refer to the information below for uniform requirements for the day. All envelopes/money are due on the day (taken directly ...to photographer), if not already paid via the online payment method (envelope must still be returned). Please do not bring envelopes to the office. For families requiring sibling photo envelopes, these are available to be picked up from the front office. Sibling photos will be taken from 8am until 9am on Wednesday 3rd March. Students are required to wear the following uniform items for photos: Students who are in multiple groups will need to bring the required uniforms for all photos they will appear in. 16.01.2022 Prep Fun Swim Afternoon - Tuesday 8th December Classes will be leaving for the pool at 1:30pm. Please pack swimming togs, sunscreen and a rash shirt. Students will be back at school by 2:45pm. Please do not send the students to school in their swimmers. They will change into their swimmers at school before leaving for the pool.
15.01.2022 Swimming has begun. Students are enjoying learning about water safety.
15.01.2022 Swimming Information and Term 4 Timetable All Students are required to wear a swim/rash shirt. Students will not be permitted into the pool without appropriate swimwear. It is advised that students bring: togs, swim shirt, towel, goggles, swimming cap. ... Students need to wear their school uniform to school and then students will change at the swimming pool. Students are not allowed to wear thongs to school. Please contact the front office if you have any questions regarding swimming.
15.01.2022 Concert Band and Beginner Band Rehearsals will not be happening this week as Mrs Summerville is on leave.
14.01.2022 Year 6 students enjoyed their Graduation from Primary School this morning. It was a lovely morning with some touching moments. We wish them well for their journey into High School.
12.01.2022 To celebrate the end of term 3 and learning all of the consonant phonemes, the prep students participated in a phoneme scavenger hunt around the playground. We also played some oral language games and had a great morning.
