25.01.2022 A little sneaky peek of the progress on site at our project, The Edinboro with Kre8 Constructions WA. We cannot get enough of that brickwork!

25.01.2022 Its no secret that well-designed spaces can have a huge impact on your wellbeing. Given that we design beautiful spaces everyday, it was only fitting that we had the opportunity to design our own fun, welcoming and stimulating space! Head to our blog for more photos of the new Dalecki Design HQ or, pop in and say hi if youre ever on Bulwer Street! http://www.daleckidesign.com.au/blog

24.01.2022 Work continues to race ahead on-site for our little project, 'The Commercial'. This one is almost nearing completion- there is nothing better than seeing our designs come to life!

23.01.2022 There's nothing quite like being greeted with a 'Howdy' when you walk into the office in the morning! Well, a 'Howdy' and a coffee waiting would be ideal

23.01.2022 Houzz loves the chic black accents and oversized handles in the bathroom of our project 'The Empire'- that's why it made their list of '24 bathroom vanities to inspire'! Check out a number of beautiful bathrooms in their full list here; https://www.houzz.com.au//best-of-the-week-24-impressive-v

22.01.2022 We are excited to be heading along to the BDAWA 2019 design awards on Saturday night! There are some beautiful projects being showcased by some very talented local Building Designers. A few of our own projects will be on show on Saturday night too, including this little beauty, 'The Elizabeth'. Check out our Instagram stories on the night as we give you a little sneak peek at the projects!

21.01.2022 This beautiful 'forever home' incorporates all of the homeowner's favourite materials in a simple, striking facade- timber, concrete, black steel and crisp, white render. It has also just been submitted to the council for DA- wish us luck!

21.01.2022 Another project making great progress on site is this little beauty, 'The Edinboro'. The rear addition to the federation home was designed to create a free-flowing, open plan layout to suit the young family's needs. The overall design was situated to maximise the northern side orientation of the lot and overlook the gorgeous pool and landscaped alfresco zone. Stage one is being completed now, whilst stage two, which comprises of a second storey to house a kids wing, will be completed as the kids grow and require their own space. We love future proofing home designs!

21.01.2022 Introducing our newest completed project, 'THE SOLOMON'! This project saw the complete renovation of a beautiful character cottage in Mosman Park, with the addition of a rear two-storey form to house an open plan living zone and bedroom wing. If you love what you see, we have an extremely exciting opportunity coming for an exclusive walk-through. Stay tuned! Builder: Hardy Constructions

20.01.2022 Theres nothing quite like being greeted with a Howdy when you walk into the office in the morning! Well, a Howdy and a coffee waiting would be ideal

20.01.2022 The incredible artwork of Amok Island takes pride of place in the boardroom of our new Headquarters. If you know our Director, Janik, you would know this was a non-negotiable for the office!

20.01.2022 With so much dark cabinetry in the kitchen of our project, The Blinco, we utilised a window splashback to draw in sunlight and naturally brighten the space. The combination of the dark colours, natural materials and natural light created a sophisticated space that still feels light and inviting.

20.01.2022 We absolutely love this shot of our project, 'The Blinco'. It is only when you see all home's together that you can see the full extent of their street presence. Their striking form aims to attract attention! The curved feature walls, a merging of natural materials and a contrast of white was used intentionally to reflect the industrial feel of their East Fremantle locale.

19.01.2022 Thinking of tackling a renovation project on your own? Naomi Findlay has put together a fantastic checklist over on Houzz with items you should tick off before picking up a hammer to ensure your budget, timeline and scope of work aren't blow out. Check out the article below- you might even spot one of our beautiful renovation projects in there! https://www.houzz.com.au//renovation-checklist-7-essential

19.01.2022 We were so excited to find out that the ensuite in our project, The Elizabeth, received a high commendation in the 2019 Trends Ideas Australia bathroom suites awards! 15.01.2022 We are extremely excited to be able to announce that we received not one, but TWO wins at the 2019 BDAWA Design Awards held over the weekend! The first win went to our project, 'The Elizabeth', being named the best residential alteration/addition up to $350k! We'll reveal the second winner later this week...

14.01.2022 It might not be pretty, but it is pretty damn exciting! This is the all-important ten-star energy rating for our new home project, 'The Bromley' which is due to hit site in the coming months. This is a pretty big deal (and we are a little jealous of the future homeowner)!

13.01.2022 Our little 10-star beauty Our client for this gem had a clear brief for a mid-century inspired design. The fact we managed to get a 10-star rating was an added bonus It's heading to site shortly and we couldn't be more excited!

13.01.2022 We had an absolute blast working with our fantastic clients over the last 12 months to create this beautiful design. This project has been a particularly exciting and rewarding one to take under our wing (though not without its challenges, like all projects!). The house was purposely designed on an angle to position the main living wing to face the breathtaking views of the Perth skyline. This project is now on site- watch this space as it comes to life!

12.01.2022 We cannot get enough of this beautiful hit and miss brick wall on site at our project, The Anzac. Kre8 Constructions WA posted this photo to their Instagram story and we just had to share it!

12.01.2022 This hand and computer sketch is the first stages of the design process for a new home project we have on the drawing board. We can't wait to share the progress of this one as it continues to evolve... she's a beauty!

11.01.2022 We love pushing the boundaries when it comes to building materials. In particular, taking traditional building materials and using them in new or unusual ways. Thats why we were excited to have our project, 'The Ash', featured in this article from Houzz exploring alternative materials for walls! Have a read of the article below; https://www.houzz.com.au//beyond-brick-and-plasterboard-al

10.01.2022 Choosing the right art for your home can be a difficult job, especially picking art for tricky spots! Matt Biocich did an absolutely beautiful job choosing the artwork for our project, 'The Elizabeth'. Houzz thought so too, and have included the master suite in their examples of fantastic artwork choices for tricky spots. Have a read of the article below! (artwork pictured is by Kimmy Hogan supplied by Mandi at Home). https://www.houzz.com.au//pro-panel-how-to-choose-art-for-

10.01.2022 One of our favourite parts of the design process is watching a project develop and grow. This is one of the initial renders of a little side by side/townhouse development project we have been working on. The design has since evolved and the final product is almost ready to head to site. Stay tuned, we can't wait to share it with you!

09.01.2022 The pitched roof of the external structure on our project, 'The Elizabeth' was carried through internally, with a raked ceiling creating a sense of space and an open feel to the master suite. This rake intentionally drops over the walk-in robe to create a more private feel to the dressing zone. 09.01.2022 A little sneaky peek of the progress on site at our project, 'The Edinboro' with Kre8 Constructions WA. We cannot get enough of that brickwork!

08.01.2022 Introducing, 'The Grove', a rear addition to an existing weatherboard workers cottage currently on the drawing board! The form of the addition has been purposefully designed to contrast the existing house, whilst the material palette incorporates a collection of materials found in the surrounding environment, used in non-conventional ways. Raw timber cladding, recycled red brick and tin sheeting have been combined with concrete and modern vertical cladding in the exterior palette to create synergy with the new additions modern interiors. The new form has been set higher than the existing house roof line to allow for highlight windows to run the length of the additions, capturing the northern light. Stay tuned as we bring you more on this beauty!

08.01.2022 When designing our project, The Empire, the homes original structure worked in our favour. The living and sleeping wings of the home were connected by a single corridor. We added full height glazing to this corridor to showcase the existing courtyards and draw light into the heart of the home.

07.01.2022 We utilised a mixed material palette to create a beautiful, layered and textured space in the main living zone of our project, 'The Blinco'. The final product is a truly striking space!

We added full height glazing to this corridor to showcase the existing courtyards and draw light into the heart of the home.

06.01.2022 Before we take on a project, it is so important that the client brief and project intent is in line with our own design ethos. The project size and budget, whilst important, play less of a factor in our decision to take on a design. As a perfect example of this, this little gem of an addition houses a dining room extension, designed to completely open up in the warmer months, creating a covered outdoor dining space. It sits between the original federation home and an existing... freestanding garage, which left only a few meters of space to house the addition. Whilst the form of the addition is sympathetic to the original home, we have purposely used a raw material palette as a contrast. We have taken this approach to provide a clear separation between the two very distinct eras of construction, rather than trying to replicate the original home, creating a 'fo-federation' addition. 04.01.2022 Given that Dalecki Design HQ is not the largest of office spaces (37m2, to be exact!), it was crucial that we carefully selected areas of the space where we could really make a statement! The stunning granite benchtop and feature tiling in the kitchenette are two examples of this. We have to say, we think they make a beautiful statement!

04.01.2022 We do love a kitchen that makes a statement! Vanessa Walker has pulled together a fantastic collection of 30 kitchens with stand out features over on Houzz and the kitchen of our project, 'The Blinco' made the cut! We absolutely love the feature timber ceiling too You can check out the full list here; https://www.houzz.com.au//best-of-the-week-30-kitchens-wit

03.01.2022 Work is racing ahead on site for our project, The Commercial. There is nothing better than seeing your projects come to life! Watch this space!

03.01.2022 We are extremely excited in the office as this little Esperance beauty has just hit site- that surely means a few site visits are required, right?! The brief for this one was simple- to create a home suited to a young family utilising a simple structure and material palette. The home was to make a statement without looking out of place within the existing streetscape. We think the final design does just that and we can't wait to see it come to life!
