23.01.2022 Our Friday morning outing 20 November 2020. Two bus loads of very excited patrons left the Greendale Centre just after 9am. They began with a tour of Fairbridge Village Pinjarra, then on to lunch at the Waroona Hotel and a visit at White Rocks farms at Brunswick Junction. White Rocks farm is a working farm with a museum of the history of the area on site, they also have a working blacksmith’s workshop. They get patrons involved in the day to day running of the farm and show... how farming was done and how it has been modernised over the years. A brilliant day for all patrons and once again this would not be possible without the wonderful work of our volunteers. Thank you to Ray and Malcolm, our wonderful drivers, Marj and Irene our outing volunteers, who all work so hard to make sure each outing is a huge success. For more information on Greendale Centre outings and events call the Greendale Centre, 9399 5393 or see our web page: www.dalecottages.com.au.

08.01.2022 Our Sundowner BBQ was our last sundowner for 2020. With such a challenging year it was an excellent opportunity to catch up with your neighbours, friends, family and community members as well as Dale Cottages staff and board members. Our maintenance team cooked a very yummy BBQ (special thanks to Andrew), and big thanks to our volunteers who made salads and set up the Greendale Centre, with lots of colour and flare. It was great to see so many residents and community member...s having a wonderful time with lots of cheer. A special welcome was given to our new Village Residents and three cheers was given to Village residents who have departed during 2020, who will always be remembered as part of the Dale Cottages Village and Greendale Centre family. This event was proudly delivered in partnership between Dale Cottages Village and The Greendale Centre and thanks must go to the staff who worked hard to make it a great success, Lyndon, Caroline, Jessica and Stacey.
