07.01.2022 Well here we are Dec 2018 Now nearly some 12 yrs since the DD’s commenced in Jan 2006 at Sidmouth West Tamar The membership has changed dramatically over that period - can nearly count the originals on one hand... As we head up towards our AGM, as the founder of the DD’s I ask you to think about who you will put in place to manage your Chapter Believe me, it just doesn’t happen, there are members working in the background all the time- so spare a moment to think about your Executive and Committee for the next 12 months Safe travel and hope to see you at Scottsdale for our AGM and Christmas Dinner

06.01.2022 Sunday 16th December - DD’s Christmas Rally, done and dusted at Scottsdale - wet but not all that bad. Great meal again by club at Scottsdale. Rain held off till Saturday night and then down she came. Most tucked up inside MH’s so no probs or didn’t hear of any.... At the AGM, Cheryl Y voted back in as President with Greg Amos as VP - Sec/Treasurer role doubled up and Veronica L, in that position and get this - rest of Chapter members in as Committee Not sure how that will work - but who knows - times are a changing. About 11 rigs attended with 2 other members as day visitors. Next outings NYE at Railton RV Park - book in through NHQ - January rally dates to be confirmed at Sheffield - Feb State Rally and March will be 5 day safari around the Conara, Story’s Creek- Legerwood area finishing at Bridport MSO of Jim & Sharon - date’s to be confirmed - starts with first overnight at Conara rest area (no toilets) Watch this page for more info. Will be posted as soon as it’s available. Photos of Narrow Meeting/morning tea on Saturday morning at the rally Safe travel to you all and our mainland visitors Advised the AGM that the CMCA Board has told George Town Council that the RV Park is off the table - not proceeding- bit of a kick in the butt, but unsure who would have recommended that it not proceed!!?
