24.01.2022 Hello to all my customers. I hope you are all managing in these difficult times. Currently I am still taking bookings but I am only providing what I deem to be "essential service". An example of this is where tenants are required to move from a property and have to have their carpets cleaned under the terms of the lease. In these cases all the appropriate steps are being taken as outlined by the Government to ensure the safety of myself and my clients. I have spoken to a numb...er of my regular customers about rescheduling work and I thank them all for their patience and understanding. 23.01.2022 I have been asked a lot lately, if I am going to finish carpet cleaning any time soon. The short answer is "No".........however, my other work commitments are taking up more and more of my time. With Photo booth bookings and freelance photography now taking up 2-3 days a week, I am going to have to scale back my carpet cleaning work.... I will be making every effort to meet the needs of all of my loyal customers who have supported me over 18+ years but I also intend to keep following my passion to make a full time living from photography. 11.01.2022 Having been in the carpet cleaning industry for over 18 years I have come across a lot of "myths" regarding carpet cleaning. So, over the next few months I will try to provide my industry experience so you can get the best from your carpet and upholstery. MYTH No 1. Steam cleaning your carpet too much is bad for it.... Whilst I wouldnt recommend steam cleaning your carpet and furnishings every week (besides the cost would outweigh the benefit), when done properly, there can be no harm done in frequent steam cleaning. Carpets are worn out by the dirt and soil that gets trapped in your carpet fibres so removing it can prolong its life. As a rule I recommend a household of 1-3 people (pets are people too ) should have carpet and furnishings cleaned every 12 - 18 months. 3+ people every 6 - 12 months.
