25.01.2022 On one of the roads less traveled in the Wicklow mountains. Sometimes its nice just to meander along without any real destination.

25.01.2022 Here are a couple of images from yesterdays wedding. These images are nearly straight from the camera. Just some cropping at this stage. Have a good one, Damian

24.01.2022 I recently carried out a shoot for a company that builds industrial 3D printers. Really amazing stuff. Love the colour and the workshop setting gave a really cool contrast to the machine itself.

23.01.2022 Had a great day photographing the Wedding of Sarah and Robin around Altona and Hoppers Crossing. Just downloading the cards now. Will post some of the images tomorrow. Have a good one, Damo

23.01.2022 What an awesome background for a family portrait session. Clients are really happy with the results. Just to finalise the actual prints and sizes from here. Have a good one. Cheers, Damian

22.01.2022 After many years I've finally taken my Hasselblad out of retirement. I managed to track down a digital back (that was within budget). I'm really enjoying using a totally manual camera (focus, exposure settings, the works). The quality of the digital back and the blad together is amazing. Here is one image as an example. First image is the whole scene, second image is a small sample. Have a great week. ... Cheers, Damo See more

21.01.2022 Had an amazing family portrait session last week at the Chelsea wetlands, great fun was had by all and the results are amazing. The wetlands hold a lot of memories for this family which made the location choice even more special. Great job folks in having a discussion on the clothing colours, worked a treat. Have a good one folks. Damo

19.01.2022 Simple iPhone panoramic but what a view. This is the Wicklow Gap in Ireland amazing place for a day out.

18.01.2022 Happy Mothers Day to all. I hope you are all having a great day. My 2 helped me out during the week and co-operated brilliantly so that we could get a couple of prints done for their amazing mother, my wife Nollaig. We're very lucky to have them both, Love them to bits.... Leo the dog got in on the action too, yes he's just like one of the kids. Take care, Damian

17.01.2022 Thanks again to the team at Smile Hawthorn for sorting out my small dental emergency today, on your day off. I really appreciate your time and sorting me out. Awesome customer service. Thanks. Damian

17.01.2022 This is one of the images from the 3D printer shoot a couple of weeks ago. Really happy with the final result. Client is too which is the most important thing.

15.01.2022 The beautiful village of Amberley in West Sussex has plenty to offer if you need to get your fix of old buildings. To be honest West Sussex is an amazing part of England.

15.01.2022 Had a great shoot in a Melbourne lane way a while ago. The client loved the result. I've used this lane way previously during some wedding shoots. Have a good one. Damo

15.01.2022 If you ever get a chance to visit Gippsland in Victoria, don't go past Coal Creek. Looking around this tourist town is a great way to spend some time. http://www.coalcreekvillage.com.au

14.01.2022 I had a great shoot with a family on Christmas eve morning. They're very happy with the results. Too many to chose from. Here are a couple of my favourites. Beautiful part of the beach for some portraits. Have a great weekend. Damian

13.01.2022 Here are another couple of images from the shoot I carried out on a beautiful winters morning a few weeks ago. Thanks again to the families who help me carry out some testing. Some prints on the way soon. Cheers, Damian

13.01.2022 Finally had some time to work on images from our Europe trip last year, we spent some time in Ireland and England. Amazing places to roam around.

12.01.2022 This is an image that was taken in Gippsland earlier this year while my son and I were camping. It's a beautiful part of the world. Hope all is well, Damian

10.01.2022 Think your home 3D printer is big. Imagine one thats close to the size of a shipping container. That was last nights challenge. I think its the largest single product Ive ever photographed. Lighting it was a challenge but we got there. Thanks to the folks at spee3d for the opportunity. Will post some finals in the coming days.

09.01.2022 Wed like to wish all our clients a very Happy New Year. All the best for 2018. Take care, Damian and family

09.01.2022 Does your business make metal objects using traditional sand casting methods? You need to reach out to the team at SPEE3D to see what type of printer they can build for you. I've been shooting with this company for a number of years and get very excited to see where the future is heading.

09.01.2022 Getting ready for a family portrait this morning. Looking like a beautiful start to the day. Great location found by the client and the weather couldn't be better. We would like to wish all of our clients and future clients a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take Care,... Damian and the gang See more

08.01.2022 An early start this morning before the sun had come up ensured i had the best light for a shoot with this amazing girl and her pony at the Chelsea Wetlands. A nice relaxed shoot, we had the images we needed within an hour. Penny (the pony) did very well to maintain her patience as all these were shot on my manual focus Hasselblad (#lovintheblad). If you are looking for portraits of yourself or your pets, be sure to get in touch. Have a great day. Cheers, Damo

07.01.2022 My family and I went camping to Halls Gap in the Grampians over easter. There is a hike from the middle of town up to the Pinnacle. An amazing place, well worth a visit if you're in the area.

06.01.2022 Took this photo of Buster today. A great dog with lots of character. He did very well to stay still as I was using a camera with manual focus and manual settings.

05.01.2022 An old mill in Miltown, Co Kildare, Ireland

04.01.2022 Had a great pet portrait session yesterday with a new puppy. A bit of work to take photos using my manual Hasselblad but so worth it. Know anyone in need of portraits of their pets, have them get in touch.

04.01.2022 Having some time just to play is great for refreshing the mind. I won the Digital section of the Victorian Student photographer award a couple of years ago with an image similar to this one. Feel free to provide any feedback, positive or negative. Cheers, Damian

04.01.2022 Whilst doing a pet portrait session yesterday, I also managed to take a couple of shots of this little one. Love these types of portrait.

02.01.2022 Had a great time this morning at the Chelsea Bicentennial parkrun's 1st Birthday. What a lot of fun and a great community atmosphere. Here are a couple of the images.

02.01.2022 Took these photos of my 2 kids last November. Finn was getting a "Summer" hair cut the next day. I'm loving using the Hasselblad again with the Phase One digital back. Yep it's a bit of work, manual shutter, manual aperture and manual focus. However when you get that magic moment, the results are incredible. ... My two don't sit still for a minute which makes portraits like these even more special. Ever thought about having your or your families portraits taken. Feel free to get in touch. Have a good weekend. Damo

01.01.2022 And now for something completely different. In 2004 I won the Digital section of the Victorian Student Photographer of the year with an similar image. My daughter says that this one looks like a big slide. Sometimes I just love mucking around, you never know what you'll end up with.... Feel free to let me know your thoughts on this one. Cheers, Damo
