02.01.2022 4 years ago today I had the honour to capture this photograph as part of the Reflections project. This was one of many photographs we took over a period of time as part of a team of 450 photographers from all over the country. The aim of the project was to photograph all the remaining World War II veterans. Over 6000 men and women in total from every part of Australia. These images were presented to Dr. Brendan Nelson in August 2017 to be archived at the Australian War Memorial.
