21.01.2022 2021 timetable is now up on the website. There have been a few changes so please check it out. Term 1 starts Monday 1st February Registration day for all new students is Thursday 28th January 5-7pm @ the studio Summer classes are 11th January - 21st January 2021. That timetable will go up after New year and all bookings are online via the website. 10.01.2022 Long post but worth the read I’ve just sat in on the most amazing zoom meeting with some truly awesome studio owners. It really hit home for me. It was about longevity in the business. This year marks 18 years (well 18th concert to be technical) and while that’s pretty good, some of these women have been unbelievably successful for 30+ years.... I’ve had the strongest urge to share some things, which have been heavily on my mind, and that were a big topic of conversation today. That students are clients. We have friends and family...and while being friendly to all of your students...they are clients, and they don’t get a say in your business or your creative process....period. WOW!! Someone said it out loud. Amazing! It was so well compared, to put it into perspective, and I have to share that with you. It’s like going to a hairdresser and not loving your hair, so next time you go to a different hairdresser that’s ok, they weren’t a good fit for you. You don’t get to change the way that hairdresser does things, you just find a better fit. Now.....if there were 30 or 40 clients complaining about the same thing, then of course you’d listen. But if it’s 1 or 2, nope they need to find a better fit, and they definitely don’t get a say. I tell you why this has resonated with me. Because you can have 95% of your clients so so so happy with your school, but a very small 5% unhappy, and that 5% takes up so much of your brain space, so much of your emotional space. All to the detriment of the students that are completely happy. This could not have come at a better time with timetable changes and level shake ups happening at full force next year. And just like that, I feel like I can breath again. You can’t make everyone happy, and it’s not your job to. If you’re not the right fit for people, that’s completely ok. They’ll find their fit elsewhere. Trust and staying true to my brand

06.01.2022 Ok....I finally got the courage to read this beautiful booklet. I am absolutely blown away....and bawling....again! Thank you to everyone that wrote such beautiful and heartfelt words. Honestly hit me right in the heart. I loved looking at all your pictures. Then there’s the gifts my goodness, so unbelievably generous on top of how very very thoughtful all of this is. I love all of you and while a lot of your comments said how I’ve kept you sane in this crazy year...trust... me when I say, you’ve absolutely kept me sane. It has challenged my mental health like you wouldn’t believe and this was the most stressful concert I’ve ever put on. But you are all so wonderful, you did it. Not only did you do it, you smashed it. And to think half of those routines were learnt via zoom Alright, I’m going to go back and look at my book again snd cry some more. To everyone that is coming to the Christmas party tomorrow, I can’t wait to see you and just relax and have a drink with you all. To those that can’t make it, have a fantastic and relaxing break and I look forward to seeing you all in 2021 So much love Em xx
