15.01.2022 Hi All, We hope you are all well and that you have been enjoying our online content. Good News!!!!! With the restrictions easing off over the coming months Dance Fusion will be able to offer IN studio classes sooner than we thought!... The date that we are allowed to open is the 8th of June. However, this is contingent on how the following three weeks go for our state. So our plan is to have classes back running from the 8th of June, but there will be slight changes and adaptions based on the rules outlined by the government. We do not have all the information available to us yet so we are waiting and researching at the moment to find a way forward. 13.01.2022 Dear Parents and Students, It is with great sadness that I write to you to inform that as of midnight tonight all Dance Studios are required to close for at least two weeks. Which unfortunately means our Showcase will not be happening on the 29th of November. We have contacted the Hopgood Theatre and have tentatively booked the Theatre for the 7th of February 2021 (The 1st of February for our Dress Rehearsal). Our plan (restrictions and situation depending) is to postpone the... Showcase to that date. We would look at Returning from the 11th of January 2021 (if permitted) to resume practicing current routines. Then new 2021 classes will start from the 8th of February 2021. We will stay informed with all the updates on restrictions as they unfold and keep you updated. We will also be putting our Solo/Duo Concert on hold until we can find an alternative date. 05.01.2022 WE'RE BACK!! Please be advised of the changes we have made in effort to provide a safe environment for all students, staff and families. Heas over to our website to view our COVID-Safe Plan but I have listed below the key points for students, staff and families to be aware of and follow. *Please note that the number of people allowed in the studio is noted on the form as 20, however it is restricted to only 10 per dance/fitness class but we are hoping that will be changed in... the near future. In the meantime we have found solutions to keep classes at 10 or less participants (those affected have been notified). Physical distancing: Please maintain where possible the 1.5m distance between people. We have placed spots on the floor of our studio. Light pink for centre work and dark pink for lining up for corner work. When students enter the studio they are to put their dance bags along the back wall and stand on a light pink spot to await further instruction. We have a dedicated entrance and exit. Please enter the waiting room via the pink door (Main Entrance) and then students will exit via the second door in the studio and exit outside via the grey door in the corridor. Please be aware that there is to be only 8 people in the waiting room (not including staff). We would appreciate it if students were dropped at the front door and picked up from inside the black gates (for younger children) and parents only enter if their child needs assistance or needs to pay an invoice. Please understand that the waiting area will be utilised for students who have breaks between their classes. It is preferred for you to pay via bank transfer and contact us via email or phone rather than coming in to reduce studio traffic. Hygiene: We will be increasing the frequency of studio cleans with the added measure of wiping down/disinfecting frequently touched surfaces throughout the day. We will continue to ensure the bathroom has soap and running water for handwashing. We will provide hand sanitiser on entry and exit of the premises which MUST be used on the way in by anyone entering premises. Illness: Students and Staff must stay home if they are sick, and go home if they become unwell. In the interest of our students and staff well being, any student who is visibly sick will have their parents notified and be sent home immediately.
