23.01.2022 This year, we said goodbye and see you soon to someone who was at the heart of our organisation. Elena has been part of Dance Masala Bollywood Dance School - literally since it began. Starting with us at the age of 12 and growing up as part of the company. She went from being in juniors classes, to teens crew, to being a teacher assistant, to joining performance company, to teaching her own classes (including the much loved indocontemporary class), to admin officer, to perfor...mance company captain. Other than a list of achievements, Elenas contribution was more than work - it was open heart, listening ears and kind words. She always gave a lot of thought and consideration to each person who came across her path and lead the way with wholehearted generousity. We are proud of all that she has achieved; her constant push to define herself and try new things; and grateful to witness the grace that guides her. We love you, Elena and shower a million blessings on your journey ahead. 09.01.2022 ! Look, we havent done a feature student Friday for a while, and Indiana has already been featured this year BUT can you just have a look at her Desi Girl dance! Not all children completely suit our advancement programs with Chingari & Teens crews (which tend to focus more mostly on hip hop), some students are just FULL Nautanki and need a steady diet of Bollywood latka jhatkas and semiclassical to thrive, and Indiana is certainly one of them! ...Look at such a variety of expressions! Look at these thumkas! And Indi chose her outfit herself.
