25.01.2022 Who wants a free online Class? Our casual beginner hip hop teacher Nina is also a pretty awesome Zumba instructor and shes running one tonight at 7.30pm! All you need is to download the Zoom app to your tablet or phone and enter the meeting ID in the picture at 7.30pm tonight! Staying at home doesnt mean you cant exercise!

We're so excited yet very conscious of providing a safe environment for all our dancers. We're a little disheartened and I know you all are too. But....life goes on and we're so excited to be seeing you for the beginning of Term 3. 20.01.2022 A HUGE HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO OUR MISS SOPHIE Over the last few weeks Miss Sophie has generously donated her time running additional Ballet Technique and Conditioning classes for both our junior and senior students, raising $645 for our studio. Whilst we're still in 'unknown land' when it comes to dancing resuming, we wait and we hope and we pray.... We're missing you all so very much!

Every day, 41 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer. That's one Aussie every 36 minutes. Although research is improving survival, sadly an Australian loses their life to blood cancer every two hours.... The students we have are so caring and considerate and we couldnt be more proud of you all. On Sunday it was the lovely Alessias birthday and she was surprised with a beautiful video, all organised by one of her closest dance friends. ... We watched and we were filled with emotion because we know Dancemax Studios is responsible for this beautiful bond that these girls have.

06.01.2022 The Coronavirus Pandemic has taken hold in our state therefore it is up to all of us to ensure we are taking all the precautionary methods to keep the virus in the Dancemax community at bay. Dancemax Studios will be implementing strategies to ensure we keep our studio a germ free environment for all who walk through our doors. Dancemax Studios will take the following action;... 1. Ensure all our surfaces are disinfected every 60 minutes. This will include counters, benchtops, tables and ballet barre's. 2. Teachers will make sure that there is no sharing of equipment or props and wipes down after every use. 3. Teachers will alter lesson plans to exclude partner work or close group work. Remove any touching of hands, shoulders & lifts. 4. Teachers will refrain from hugging students or giving high five's to dancers and ensure no students are sharing drinks and water bottles. 5. Regular drink breaks as it is important to keep mouth & throat from drying and flushing away any germs from taking hold. 5. Supply bathrooms with anti-bacterial hand-wash and posters on correct hand washing techniques. 6. Remove all hand towels from bathrooms. We encourage air drying or BYO towel. No student is to share their towel with class mates. All parents and students must adhere to the following rules; 1. Parent's must contact the studio immediately if your child's school or daycare centre has been closed due to reported contamination. 2. Parents to have a discussion with their children about the importance of hygene and the rules outlined in this email. 3. As soon as you enter the studio all parents and students need to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer (BYO). This is imperative especially if your coming to the studio directly from school or your work place. 4. All parents and students that are presenting with any flu or cold like symtoms must remain at home. We are aware that some contact sport groups have closed in our area, lucky for dancers we can alter our lesson plans to have completely no contact. We will endevour to inform our families immediately of any changes so please keep regular checks of your emails and our social media.
