23.01.2022 ~ Chantelle & Jeremy ~ Today was extra special because not only did I get to head out to the unique and picturesque Karoomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm for the very first time but I also got to marry these two gorgeous humans You see, Chantelle and Jeremy first met back in 2016, whilst Chantelle and her friend were out having brekkie. Jeremy was the waiter at the restaurant they were dining at, commonly known as ‘The Rare Pear’. In Chantelle’s words, Jeremy ‘pulled out h...is witty and charming personality’ and in Jeremy’s words ‘won her over with an avo smash’. Coincidently, Chantelle had just spent the morning telling her friend that she was officially ‘done’ with men and dating, and with that, her girlfriend dared her to write her number on a napkin and hand it to Jeremy after witnessing the connection and flirtatious behaviour between the two during breakfast. 23.01.2022 Today, Teagan and Adrian sealed their commitment to each other by not only exchanging rings, but also by the pouring of sand. Teagan and Adrian wanted to recognise the significant role that their children play in their marriage, and the importance of unifying all eight of them together as one, so a sand ceremony was perfect to symbolise such unity. The pouring of sand represents each individual member. As each person’s sand is poured into the one united vase, the individual ...containers of sand no longer exist, but are joined together as one. 17.01.2022 ~ Teagan & Adrian ~ I always tell my couples to have a go at writing their own vows. That I’ll help guide them through. However, it’s alway my couples who feel so out of their depths with writing from the heart, that end up totally nailing them Adrian, I have struggled to find the words to express how much I fucking love you! Everything I have tried to put down on paper doesn’t seem enough. I just now that without you in my life my days would feel empty, because you are... the best part of me, my missing puzzle piece. I never really understood what a soul mate was until I met you, I just knew you were the one for me. Even now, 5 years later, I find myself staring at you at times and falling more in love with you- if that is even possible. You are the SALT to MY FOOD!!! (and you know how much I love salt). Our love story is my favourite of all time, it is never predictable, nor does it have a simple story line. 16.01.2022 ~ Maddy & Daniel ~ Maddi and Daniel first met 13 years ago when Daniel was 17 and Maddi was just 15 years of age. It was a teenage romance that saw them spend their Wednesday nights together, playing indoor soccer and spending their afternoons hanging out at Maddi’s house. They spent their first few years together doing typical teenager things riding their bikes around the neighbourhood, driving around town and just spending time together every moment they could. They both ...knew that the relationship that was blossoming was special as Maddy, still to this day, constantly thought about Daniel and was swarmed with butterflies every time she saw him. Daniel also remarked how he loved that Maddi always made him feel happy and carefree whenever they were together. 16.01.2022 ~ Jessica & Ben ~ Jess and Ben first met one balmy day, back in 2011, whilst attending a festival in Brisbane with friends. At first, King Sullo (the name Ben gave himself that day) and Jess were purely ‘just friends’, who had a really strong connection. They were both in relationships at the time, so they didn’t allow their instant bond to go any further. As years passed, the two kept in contact through the use of social media, but it was when Jess started working as a trave...l agent, that their stars finally aligned. You see, Ben booked a few flights through Jess for his trip to the USA in 2015, and it was during this time that Jess made her move, hinting that they should meet up for a coffee. Ben, oblivious to the cue’s that Jess was clearly making, was quite rude and hesitant, and gave off the vibe that he just wasn’t that interested. Well, with confidence on her side, Jess devised a plan, advising Ben that she physically needed to give him his plane tickets. Finally, cuing into Jess’s subtle hints with regard to what her real motivations were, Ben quickly changed his tune and was all of a sudden very ‘free’ to see her. Today, I was out at my groom’s parents place in Eungella, NSW, and I honestly didn’t want to leave. Initially it was just a mutual friendship, until they both attended the teachers ball one night and let’s just say, they ‘found love on the dancefloor’. For the first six months, they kept their relationship quiet, secretly catching up and ‘playing it cool’ around friends and colleagues. However, after a few months and a few too many close calls, including some workmat...es spotting them holding hands at the shops, they decided to level with everyone and share their blossoming relationship news. 06.01.2022 ~ Ollie Mila Clarke ~ It was not so long ago that I joined this couple on their wedding day, officiating their marriage exactly 12 months ago, and since then, their relationship has navigated through both the highs and the lows and has undoubtedly been strengthened with the addition of their gorgeous daughter Ollie. Ollie changed the hearts and lives of so many people as she entered the world on the 1st of September 2019 at Logan Hospital. The name Ollie is of Latin American ...origin and means ‘olive’, which is taken as a symbol of peace, and right from birth, she has been the true meaning of her name. Right from the first mention of having a child, the name Ollie was a favourite of both Adam and Biankka’s, no matter if they were to have a boy or a girl. Ollie has also been gifted the middle name Mila, after the much adored and famous actress Mila Kunis and also from the well-known, social media ‘funny’ child star, Mila Stauffer. Bringing Ollie into the world has given Biankka and Adam so much fulfilment. Biankka says that she has been a dream baby and has been happy and content right from the moment she entered this world. 01.01.2022 ~ Madonna & Kosta ~ Madonna and Kosta first met back in 2012, whilst both looking online for their perfect match. In Madonna’s words, ‘as soon as she saw Kosta’s friendly face in his picture, she felt an instant connection’. They relished in the fact that they had common characteristics which included a love of music, relaxed attitudes, respect and a love of the simple things in life. They continued to converse for a few weeks and soon decided to catch up for a ‘proper’ date.... Coincidently, their first coffee together was at a little café called ‘Euphoria’. They enjoyed each other’s company immensely and the next few months were then spent traveling between their homes in Bondi and Balmain East. At the time, Madonna had her little old dog Roxy and James both living with her, so it was Kosta who usually made the effort, riding his motor scooter, to be in her company. For two years, Madonna and Kosta’s bond grew stronger and stronger which eventuated in the pair moving in together in 2014. Together they love taking Stella, their dog, for walks along the beach, traveling, fine dining, chilling out, listening to music (usually reggae if it’s up to Kosta) and finding little cafés to indulge in nice coffee. They believe that marriage and being in love means to be committed to being in love and caring for each other, to always have each other’s backs, to be caring and supportive through the good times and the bad, to enjoy life together, to be forgiving towards each other and to continue experiencing all of life’s journeys together.
