22.01.2022 Today has been a SLOG! But also, macro lenses are super cool. Just managed to get a shoot done for a new client (well I say done - it’s mostly done), get some admin out of the way, plan out everything else that I need to get done for Christmas, and get an assessment all done and dusted.... It’s been a hard slog, and I’d love a sleep in but it’s going to be another big one tomorrow. Looking forward to getting all this done and settling into the Christmas spirit a bit more this year than I have done in the past. 12.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone! This year has been a weird one, and it continues to get weirder with the way that Christmas Day plans out. I never enjoyed Christmas as a kid, but was really looking forward to this one more than I think I was expecting.... The disappointing thing is that we got a bit screwed by COVID, so we’re having to put off seeing family to be on the safe side. Only for a little bit though, so I’m looking forward to our belated Christmas. So for now I’m trying to occupy my morning with coffee and #macro #abstracts. Taking photos for a business, especially from a content perspective, doesn’t have to be complicated or flashy depending on what your brands social content is directed towards.... It just has to speak true to your product/service and make sure that it reflects who and what your brand is. 02.01.2022 Fell in love with this underpass shot before I even took it. I’m beginning to realise more and more that sometime you just need to go off route, stop somewhere that not many people will and take a shot you wouldn’t normally see. I did reasonably well with this too because I didn’t have to remark the car and knew exactly the shot I wanted to get out of it.... It did get a little creepy when I went to my spot for this photo of the Jeep and then saw a single set of muddy children’s footprints, with nothing else around it.
