21.01.2022 Getting back on the business posting wagon, I'd like to confirm that I did follow through with my shameless rear window advertising late last year. Thanks again to all those that helped me come up with this little beauty! If you see me driving around the Hills give me a friendly honk.. but if you think you might be 'paying too much for your home loan' call me immediately! I have access to variable rates from as low as 3.59% at the moment.

18.01.2022 Finally we're seeing some signs that the property market in NSW is ready to take a bit of a breather. A good thing for more sustainable growth in the long term. If anyone needs help getting their finances/lending arrangements in order to take advantage of any potential dips in the market please let me know! https://www.theadviser.com.au//36040-property-demand-falls#

17.01.2022 ASIC has recently announced a targeted industry surveillance to examine whether lenders and mortgage brokers are inappropriately recommending more expensive interest-only loans. With many lenders, including major lenders, charging higher interest rates for interest-only loans compared with principal-and-interest loans, lenders and brokers must ensure that consumers are not provided with unsuitable interest-only loans. ASIC isnt the only regulator looking closely at interest...-only loans, with APRA last week writing to lenders mandating a 30% cap on new interest-only loans. http://asic.gov.au//17-095mr-asic-announces-further-measu/

09.01.2022 Interesting article in The Adviser on growing Mortgage Brokers market share. (Currently at around 53% of all home loans written) Do you have a mortgage broker that can compare many different lenders? Or would you go straight into your local bank branch who only sell their own loan products? The savings from using a good Mortgage Broker can be substantial. ... Plus some commentary on the recent changes to Interest Only loans. https://www.theadviser.com.au//35940-broker-share-could-re

02.01.2022 Gaining Insights into the Property Market - I've just been watching Nab's Senior Economist, Tony Kelly providing some excellent analysis on where the Australian Property market is now and his forecasts for the next few years broken down by state's in both housing and unit prices. I've snapped some of the slides for you that I found interesting as I'm sure you will too. In summary, Tony see's a stable but slightly softer property market in the near to medium term, which will m...ake selecting the right location and property even more important for investors. As we know though, with property it's about 'time in the market' and not 'timing the market' which is very hard to consistently do. With business conditions and job's growth improving, hopefully wage growth won't be too far behind. Softening property prices might also see the RBA leave cash rates lower for longer than anyone's expecting, which will continue to create more opportunities for astute investors to select positively geared properties to add to their portfolio's.

02.01.2022 Thanks to all my facebook friends who liked my page the other day!! And if you haven't don't worry I'll be sending you another invite soon.. haha I've decided to shamelessly advertise my business on the back window of my car and after some discussions with family and friends I've come up with 2 options... some like the use of '$$$' some think it's 'tacky' ... In the end I'm just trying to get people to pick up the phone, so please let me know which one you prefer by commenting 1 or 2 below! There'll be a free home loan review in it for you! :)
