20.01.2022 DO THE RIGHT THING I would like to thank my wife Emma for this post. I couldn't stop thinking about this yesterday. Even slept on it and couldn't stop thinking about it this morning. I don't usually write posts like this. So here it goes (hoping for a happy outcome). Because if you don't ask you don't receive.... Yesterday my husband had a door stolen off one of his building sites. Not only was the door stolen but the lock, hinges and scratch plate also (Google that last one). No damage was done to the door frame that remained. You knew what you were doing. ONE day before lock up stage! It is not uncommon to have things stolen in Townsville. But really! Is this what our community has come to accept as NORMAL living conditions? Townsville I think you can agree that this is NOT ACCEPTABLE, we can do better. I'm appealing to the person/persons responsible for stealing this door. Not only did you steal from the new owners; you stole from ME and MY FAMILY. Who do you think gets to pocket the bill for this? Time was also stolen. Time we had planned as a family yesterday afternoon to enjoy together. But instead my husband had to work back late to arrange a replacement. You would have known how much that door cost. That's now money we had to spend on a DOOR instead of activities with our young family over the school holidays. However my post is not about money. Money is replaceable. It's about PRINCIPLES. Hate to state the obvious and go all mum like....But STEALING IS WRONG. So here is your opportunity to do the right thing, make a right choice, no questions asked, no charges laid, no naming or shaming. DO the right thing because it's the RIGHT thing to do. I'm appealing to the decent person somewhere inside..... RETURN the door to where you stole it from. You owe it to YOURSELF at the very least! Thank You (Please share this post in the hope that the person/s responsible can read it and make the right decision)

03.01.2022 I had the privilege of rebuilding this awesome house for Ty and Mel Bullen. Mel picked some interesting colours but they turned out really nice. The floods may seem like so long ago for some people, but some people are just trying back into thier homes.
