09.01.2022 Today we made paintings and pictures for the elderly in the aged care home. With the lockdown in place for them and limited to no visitors we wanted to spread some happiness in a world that's gone crazy. We hope to create some smiles and sunshine to someone's day tomorrow when they get delivered. On a side note, please be kind to others and remember to pull together in a time when we can easily fall apart

09.01.2022 We have been working lots at the Funhouse to teach resilience and to share our resources. At first personal space and belongings was a big factor because, well let's face it, sometimes we want everything and everywhere to be ours... especially when you're aged 4 or under. But in a group environment sometimes this is impossible so we started doing small and quick group activities. Slowly our activities grew into bigger groups as a whole and included turn taking skills. This ha...s now become second nature to our little family and this morning I snapped this beautiful picture totally child initiated... Mr 3 built this fabulous race track and all 3 friends followed sitting together on the mat and driving their cars around and around. When it became too much for some rather then be frustrated or sad they simply moved onto a new activity. #myfamily #learnthroughplay #giggles #yourfamily #togetherwecan #Funhouse
