We are a family business of over 41 years with a well established client base with riders travelling from all over Sydney/Illawarra regions. Required Skills: - 10 years horse experience - confident in all aspects of grooming, feeding, tacking up, riding in both arena and trail ride scenarios. You will be responsible for leading guided bush trail rides and instructing individual/group arena lessons. - Customer Service - you’ll be the face of the ranch so a confident and friendly approach is essential to share our beautiful ranch with our guests. - Working with Children Check. Desired additional skills: - Level 1 Coach / Trail Guide certificate - experience driving tractor/quad bike Opportunity for 5 days a week for the right candidate. Must be available weekends. Dear family, friends and loyal customers we just want to let you know that Darkes Forest Riding Ranch will be trading as normal but we will obviously be following strict health and hygiene practices as we have done so since the beginning of CV19. Although he is quiet he does enjoy letting loose in pony club games. A great all rounder. Plus he has cute little ears!

08.01.2022 Attention all agistees and clients. Tomorrow (28.11.20) our local fire brigade will be running a training day to ensure our safety this fire season. This means there will be fire trucks travelling along the road and/or stopping unpredictably. Please allow time for your lessons/trails and be careful driving in and out. 08.01.2022 Some of you may have noticed our little mate Kenny has been missing off the rail for the last couple of days. Kenny came down with a bout of colic and was out of sorts. Thanks to our wonderful friends at Equissage Therapy Australia we have been using the equissage regularly (under the heavy supervision of his best mate Nash) and he now feels much better!! 03.01.2022 Faces Of The Forest Dolly The lady in Pink. Our biggest girl here at the ranch. She takes on the mumma role here at the ranch and enjoys her nanna naps. Dolly was gifted with big brown beautiful eyes which the flies just can’t resist, so over the summer months we protect her eyes with a fly mask. She is one of those horses that look good in anything.
