He walked into the shed & kneeled do...wn & took a shot of the hatchback. No prep, not washed, with a wire hanging out for the bonnet latch. Pretty impressive, i thought, he is the guy also responsible for my short business video. If anybody wants a wedding filmed & photographed, landscape or some really good car shots, give him a call. Unfortunately due to what's happened we will need to cancel all Darkeye Photography jobs for 2020 We are slowly getting around to messaging you all, please don't feel bad if you message us first we understand and want to avoid any stress for you all at this time also. ... 16.01.2022 As a lot of you are aware we have had a pretty full on year to say the least. We have grabbed hold of what we have left of 2020 and decided to take a leap of faith and chase our goals more than ever .... Our big news............... No we're not expecting another child we could not possibly share anymore love then we already are at the moment We have signed the lease on our own business space, meaning Darkeye Photography will have our own studio, Gallery and office. Glen will be able to have his own space to edit, put his amazing prints on display to sell and be close enough to our little man when I'm back at work and somewhere in town for him to do therapy. We have been lucky enough to all be within a 1klm radius of each other which has been a god send. Knowing we can both be close enough to not just Durakai but all our babies is incredible. 2020 isn't over but we want to take the last of it to thank everyone for all your amazing support. Support the ones you love , back the local businesses , hold your family tight. And no matter how crazy or scared you are don't ever stop chasing your dreams, you never know when everything may just change.... Love you all Glen, Brinae, Durakai, Kalyra and Keirajarli.

14.01.2022 How many 6 years old do you know that have extubated ( prob spelt wrong ) themselves, have removed feeding tubes with no free hands , removed a canula all... so he can eat, squeeze the medicine tube himself and be allowed in his chair .... Due to the extent of Durakai's injuries he gets what's called a special meaning that at night he has his own nurse in order to let mum and dad rest with his sisters... Not once has he cried for us , by no means has it been easy as parents you want to be by your child side every second but any parent knows that this is not possible especially when Brinae still fully breastfeeds .... The support we have had to allow for a special has been incredible meaning days like today we both get to witness this smile and the little milestones like your first cruise around the hospital and to OT. He is so brave and knows he gets a new friend each night to talk too when he can't can't sleep or to massage and scratch his back ALL night ..... 10.01.2022 Tune into 10 News First from 5pm today, to see the beautiful family of 6 year old Durakai, who have stayed with us for the past 5 weeks. Durakai spent a week i...n an induced coma after a freak accident on his family's farm - in a small town near Dubbo. Thankfully despite his harrowing experience, Durakai continues to amaze doctors and his family with his recovery, spending time with his two little sisters and loving parents at the House, between his many appointments at the hospital. #keepingfamiliesclose

08.01.2022 Cousin to cousin we'll always be , special friends from the same family tree. When we arrived home we were due for a catch up. It was as if no time had passed. Taking photos of your own children is one of the hardest sessions ever, they never want to cooperate but it was loads of fun.

06.01.2022 As we sit here and think about how far we have all come in the past 8 weeks it's hard not to think about the negatives. We try to live a very positive life and... focus on all the positives, not the negatives. We have people asking how are you feeling? Our first response is yeah we're good..... And then we get the no really how are you. ? To be honest we're exhausted it's hard work. Durakai is climbing a massive mountain but so are we and so are our girls. Yes Durakai is kicking amazing goals , is very cheeky and doing great but we have a long way to go. We have a lot of unknown, and a long way to go to ensure a better future for him , how ever that may be.. We won't ever give up but we will admit the struggle is real , we put on a brave face but still have our little demons on the inside. We don't want other families to think them struggling is not normally because we are struggling but haven't admitted it.... We don't know how long we will be here as we have had some unexpected hiccups We continue to thank everyone for our support and positives vibes as it does help us work through with a smile on our faces..... We do still need help as hard as it is to say and admit which is why we are sending this message to spread the word on Durakais fundraiser. Yes he is a warrior and a brave little man but he isn't out of the woods yet..... We were hoping he would be walking by now as were his therapists, but day by day .... Everything takes time ..... The utter determination he has in everyday life is showing itself right now as he holds on and fights hard.. He is being guided by so many of his angels and keeping him strong through this process.
