23.01.2022 With Interschool Sport being cancelled in Term 3, Mr Naumann organised a soccer tournament between students. Teams were mixed and a draw was done up where every team played each other during the rounds. At the end of the rounds, Tigers (coached by Mrs Kidd) were undefeated. Semi-finals were held where Tigers and Lions (coached by Mrs Littell) were victorious and made it through to the Grand Final. Tigers went in as favourites today, but it was the underdogs in the Lions that ...came through with the victory defeating Tigers 2-0. The Tournament was played in high spirit and each every student must be congratulated for the effort and their sportsmanship throughout. The Sportsmanship Award was given to ten students who showed great sportsmanship throughout the rounds and they will be enjoying a free pizza party on Monday! Congratulations to the Lions on your victory today!!

22.01.2022 Well we have a plan, now we just have to put it together. We were very excited last week to meet with Louise Nobel from the Mulberry Project to discuss the plan... for vegetable gardens at our school. These gardens will be tended by adults doing Horticultural Certificates and their children and of course our students. There is to be an orchard, an arbor, room for the chooks to roam, A nursery for cultivating seedlings, compost bins, learning areas and so much more for our community. There is lots of things that we will need to source and hopefully our community will assist us to purchase or give in kind donations where possible. It is going to be so exciting, will promise to keep you posted and in the mean time if you felt that you could help us achieve this fabulous project please let us know, we will need things such as weed mat, shade cloth, floor mats to use when learning, beser blocks, wooden tables, crusher dust, you name and we will probably need it See more
