23.01.2022 There's two more weeks of Crit Training left at Hidden Valley for the year so we have decided to reduce the cost of a season pass to only $30 (valid to 30 June 2021). As a thankyou to those who have purchased season passes already, we'd like to give you a free pair of the brand new DCC socks. We will have them available for collection next week.

22.01.2022 We hate having to do this but we havent managed to secure enough volunteer assistance to proceed with the Darwin River Tavern Road Race that was scheduled for next Sunday, 26 July. Apologies to all of those who were looking forward to the event. Our efforts are now focused on putting on a great Fondo on 30 August before getting back to racing at the Batchelor Classic on 20 September.

20.01.2022 What a great week it has been! Full on... But worth it! The DCC Juniors have returned from competing at the SA NT Junior Track Championships (13 - 15 Dec) and DCC had a solid representation at the Masters Road Champs (9-12 Dec): Criterium: Cam finished in the pack, mid race 3 man breakaway held on to take the podium. Phil Brownscombe had to chase down 3 man breakaway, finished 4th ahead of the pack. Will post more result. But safe to say DCC smashed it!

13.01.2022 A great race today out on the Arhnem Hwy for the Withnalls Lawyers Bark Hut Classic. Well done to the winners John Da Costa (M) and Prue Chellis (F). It was a hot race with Group 3 (37km/h) taking out the top places averaging over 39km/h. A few riders from Group 2 (35km/h) managed to hang onto Group 3 as they went past and averaged 37 km/h, while the limit Group 1 (30 km/h) almost hung on for the win. Group 2 (40 km/h) worked well together averaging over 42 km/h, while 4 of ...the 5 riders off scratch (43 km/h) averaged a course record of nearly 44 km/hr! All but 4 riders finished within 8 minutes of the nominal finish time of 10:10AM. Well done to everyone. See race results below. A big thank you to everyone for making the drive out and again thank you to everyone who helped to make the day come today so smoothly. 05.01.2022 Tomorrow, the 2020 AusCycling National Masters Road Championships kick off at the Gold Coast with individual time trials. Thursday will see some crit racing before the road races on Saturday. Darwin Cycling Club will be represented at the event by Pete Arnott (MMAS1), Cam Judson (MMAS3), Leon Schulz (MMAS4) and Phil Brownscombe (MMAS5).
