24.01.2022 Term 3 commences tomorrow, 20th July. Please remember and support us with following our COVID-19 plan: all groups are distancing from each other, we are following personal hygiene practices - before, during and after class and our equipment is cleaned regularly between classes. 22.01.2022 Our GFA programs are open to beginners, and those who have participated in gymnastics previously. All of our recreational programs, from Kindergym through to our Adult classes get full use of our gymnastic apparatus using DGC's curriculum, with our coaches accredited and trained to cater for all abilities! DGC currently has limited vacancies in most of our weekday 3.30pm and 4.30pm classes and in our Saturday morning classes. Email us at [email protected] for more information!

13.01.2022 Over the last two weekends, 12 parents/friends represented DGC as judges over 12 sessions, all judging multiple sessions! These volunteers, along with others from the other NT Clubs make these events possible- so from all of us, thankyou! And to our great coaching team for working so hard to support the gymnasts in reaching their goals, and for always going above and beyond, thankyou! Thanks to Gymnastics Northern Territory and volunteers for hosting the NT Champs and for the development opportunity with Kym Dowdell. Kym thankyou for sharing your vast experience and knowledge with us :)

11.01.2022 This week we applauded the hard work and outstanding achievements of our competitive gymnasts. Perpetual achievement trophies for competition performance along with coaches awards for sportsmanship, attendance and attitude were presented to gymnasts from each gymsport. Certificates were awarded to each squad for Most Improved, Rising Star and Hardest Worker. We congratulate all recipients, you are all stars

10.01.2022 DGC’s Squad gymnasts have been working hard on their strength and flexibility and earlier this month were tested at a PAD test event. Certificates are going home this week. A special thank you to all the judges on the day. First place goes to Matthew from MAG Black - Division 1 and Jade from WAG White- Division 2. Well done!! 07.01.2022 It is always sad to say goodbye to members and staff but it is a great opportunity to look back on memories of their time with the club, including trips away to Alice Springs, Bendigo and Singapore along with many local club events Coaches Zac and Nicole both participated in DGC programs as gymnasts for some years (Zac since 2008 apart from a couple years interstate and Nicole since 2014) before joining our coaching team 2-3 years ago. 05.01.2022 Last week, our recreational gymnasts took part in our 8 Skill Challenge with certificates being presented this week. It was a busy couple of weeks, well done to everyone involved Our recreational program is taking a break for the holidays and we will be back for Term 4, commencing 12th October.

03.01.2022 A busy term 3 ended on a high note for our squad gymnasts across our competitive gymsports. Coach Jeff Young from the Victorian Men's High Performance Centre spent time with each of our squads and their coaches over the last two days, working on bar circle elements, forward tumbling, shiny bar essential workshop and squad coaching. It is always a treat to see new faces in the gym, thank you for sharing your knowledge Jeff, we hope to see you up this way again
