22.01.2022 Darwin Game Fishing Club is calling for expressions of interest for teams to compete in the 39th Iron Jack Australian Lagers Barramundi Classic to be held on the Daly River at the Banyan Farm. Teams of 3 anglers are required and the following are the key dates for next years tournament. Junior Classic - 18th April Orientation Day - 19th April... 39th Iron Jack Australian Lagers Barramundi Classic - 20th to 24th April Expression of interest forms can be sought by Facebook message to the club or by emailing [email protected] Your EOI will be considered by the committee and only once you have been accepted is your team confirmed. 06.01.2022 2020 Iron Jack NT Billfish Classic - Day 2 Provisional Results A similar day to Day 1, with 4 sailfish and 2 black marlin tagged. The first sail was tagged at 8.15am by Michael Lording of Goresome, with teammate Matthew Thornton also tagging a sail later in the day. The first black marlin of the tournament was tagged by Anthony Bergamo of Sea Far, approx 60kg. Mick Carey from MegII tagged the other black, estimated at 90kg.... Kim Mychas of Kurri Tackle and Kurt Williamson of Free Jumpers both added to their sails of yesterday to keep both teams locked on 2250 points at the top of the table, with 3 sails each. 02.01.2022 CAUTION CORROBOREE BOAT RAMP Please take caution on Corroboree Boat Ramp this weekend, with shallow water levels exposing hazards at the bottom of the ramp. Please follow hazard signs in place and ensure all props are raised when retrieving or launching your boat to avoid damage.
