02.01.2022 Darwin Trailer Boat Club - here's a review for you! "This month I began my tasting journey with ‘a laksa a day keeps the doctor away’. Three weeks and around a dozen laksas later, I’m in more of a ‘laksa shared is a laksa halved’ frame of mind. This is just as well because Trailer Boat Club’s legendary roast duck laksa is the soup equivalent of a deep fried Mars Bar - a sticky, rich, gooey, indulgent hot mess. This laksa doesn’t muck around tender roast duck pieces submerged in a broth so thick it's almost solid, crispy skin breaking away suddenly like a toddler at a busy night market, thick yellow egg noodles and three chunks of fried tofu topped with a trio of vivid red chilies. Ducking good stuff."
