After being inspired by derby leagues around the world we thought we would sharpen our skills with the #HatSnapChallenge

21.01.2022 SKATE GYM - Wheely Fun Fitness. Skate Gym is back for 2020 and it has Changed! 2 separate sessions are now offered, meaning each class gets the entire stadium, and everyone can come! 6-7pm: Family skate. This is for families with skaters who are under 14 yrs of age. Yes, adult and teen family members are all welcome to come accompanied with your child. Children under 14 years of age who skate without parents can come to this class too. Helmets are compulsory for all U16's.... 7-8pm: 14+ class. For all the bigger kids that love skating. Sorry, your small child can't skate in this group, but don't worry, the family group caters to all skill levels too. Helmets are compulsory for all U16's Skate gym is aimed at those with basic skills and all levels above, but those who have never skated, or are still wobbly, falling and unable to maneuver, may not be ready to participate in skate gym skills. Talk to us so we can help. Please read all the information provided on the ticketing page. It is important everyone is across our class system and our Terms & Conditions, as we cannot provide a public skate rink service, and drop-in visitors are often disappointed.

20.01.2022 Crazy fitness freak Axle Rosé nearly killed us yesterday with her off skates cardio killer. As much as it hurts we know somewhere very, very deep down her heart is in the right place. To top it all off Nicholas Parry Photography was there to capture us all looking our best (soaked in rain, dripping with sweat and covered in grass). Thanks for that Nick.

01.01.2022 The count down is on. Not long until our first beginners course for 2020 starts and there is still time to sign up. If you have seen derby in movies like Whip It and Harley Quinn but you are scared of being hit there are other options for you. Most leagues play a rule set that isn’t as violent as its made out on the big screen but if you still don’t want to be hit that is okay. This program is the stepping stone into officiating and having the almighty power to send skaters to the sin bin. If you have any questions about the program, officiating or derby in general please get in touch. Looking forward to skating with our beginners on Sunday.
