23.01.2022 Iceman and I - thinking we may try Polocrosse in the New Year. Looking forward to taking him back to greener pastures. On another note - hoping to have a price list up over the weekend.

20.01.2022 Big weekend - underground equipment repairs all through Saturday followed by a call-out to a friend for a fan belt replacement in Coolgardie. Up at 3:30AM Sunday driving down to Esperance and back to collect some hay. Windy roads but made it back in one piece!

18.01.2022 Pretty much a staple diet on landcruisers. CV joint and wheel bearing replacement. Customer also had a braking complaint. We replaced both glazed rotors, fitted new Bendix Brake pads and replaced a front right hand side seized caliper. Finishing the job with a rewire of the inoperative rear tail lights.

16.01.2022 Working on another Telehandler that is a wiring nightmare. Burnt wires everywhere, green death and a LOT of inoperative components. Never an easy job but always easier when you enjoy what you do.

13.01.2022 Been a bit quiet on the workfront as I have been on nightshift helping out my current employer with some underground work at a local gold mine. Did manage to sneak in a couple of shoeings mid afternoon over the weekend and will have some more mechanical and farrier work to do very shortly. Watch this space!

13.01.2022 Had a difficult shoeing over the weekend that we managed to get sorted. Poor boy had been trimmed (by an out of town farrier) and had his shoes removed leaving him struggling to walk. This boy is galloping around again now like he was never sore at all. Photo number two is what we had to work with, he was left without a flat hoof (and very uneven) so banging a shoe on proved to be difficult but not impossible!

11.01.2022 Had a float inspection and service today that we managed to get sorted. One wheel was scrubbing inside of the tyre which could have either been a loose/damaged wheel bearing or a bent stub axle causing too much camber angle on the tyre. We found a worn hub was causing the fault with movement of the bearing race inside the hub housing. This should typically be an interference fit. Happy customer, another job down. Feel free to message the page for a quote on any float or vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics!

11.01.2022 Not just my horse, he's my best mate.

10.01.2022 Todays issue was air conditioning. The evaporater behind the dash completely blocked. No flow at all to the vents. Cleaned up and inspected but unfortunately was quite corroded. So a new one installed. Vacuumed down and regased. Icy cold now with a great flow out of vents.

09.01.2022 Early start driving down to Esperance - Iceman had some work done today (nothing major.) Finishing the day off with some work on a float we're servicing for a client.

08.01.2022 Sometimes you get a piece of history needing a bit of love. Had this 1954 Mk1 Ford Zephyr today, customer had an issue with his brakes not as good as he'd like. So we inspected brakes, cleaned and de dusted the shoes and drums. Give it a brake fluid flush and bled her up. Now braking like a new one.

05.01.2022 Just completed a full major service and repair on a JCB telehandler. Running like a dream again... Still working on a pricelist for all of our mechanical servicing and repairs - for now, please comment below or message us for a quote.

04.01.2022 Had a job today for an inoperative CCTV monitoring system on a JCB telehandler. Wasn't long before the fault of sheared coax cables was located. Promptly rewired, repaired and sent back to work.

04.01.2022 Couple of sunrise trims to start the day out in Coolgardie. Enjoyed working with these two - very well behaved Standy (Ardii) and Quarter Horse (Poppy.)

03.01.2022 Loving the new business cards we got in stock. Very happy with the finished product! Busy week so far - watch this space.

01.01.2022 Just in time. Customers toyota camry. Was booked in for a 10xxxkm service and inspection. Radiator leaking like a sieve unbeknownst to the customer. Flushed cooling system, installed new radiator and longlife coolant. A friendly reminder to check your coolants and oil on a regular basis too.
