24.01.2022 I've been skimming through old drives while I'm laid up at home and thought I'd share some of the fun stuff I found. Hence the new page.

22.01.2022 Thumbprint was a business that enjoyed great success in the 90s, but had seen a worrying downturn in the 2000s to the point that something needed to be done... fast... with no money. We started running tiny little ads like this in October plus a series of inexpensive classifieds. These ads cost around $56 each and the reaction to them was astounding. Thumbprint had their biggest November ever! ... The campaign included classifieds like these. Sadly, the newspaper stopped us running ads like this a few years after. ADULT SERVICES COLUMN ADS LIKE THIS If you'd just bought her something from Thumbprint you wouldn't be sitting there reading this column. Thumbprint for individual gifts and jewellery. AND THIS HandzOff anti-masturbatory gum now at Thumbprint in the Mall. We don’t think it actually works... but it sure as hell gets a laugh. Other flavours include: I love my penis, Be nice or leave plus more. AND THIS OK Paul, I’ve tried the other classified sections and you don’t seem to be getting it. Our anniversary is tomorrow and Thumbprint closes at 6 today. You only have hours to get there and you haven’t mown the lawn yet! PUBLIC NOTICES LIKE THIS I (insert name) wish it to be known that I am officially back on the market unless my useless boyfriend (insert name) takes back the frypan and buys me something original from Thumbprint in the Mall! CAR SALES ADS LIKE THESE A spanking new car for $60,000 that you won’t let her drive probably won’t impress her any more than $100 worth of silver jewellery she can wear ... from Thumbprint in the Mall. $400 will buy you a heap of you know what... we’re talking cars here... or a really impressive stud ... for your eyebrow... with change left over... lots of it. Very impressive. Come to Thumbprint in the Mall.

20.01.2022 The ad that started the resurgence of Sisco's. Sisco's was always a great restaurant, but after their move to the waterfront, things went downhill. The food was still exceptional, but they hadn't filled for more than a year. Seb wanted to do special offers to get people back. I suggested that we find out why people weren't coming before we start giving things away. After three weeks of attempting to get my casually well-dressed friends to join me for dinner, we ran this one ad in the Saturday paper. We filled the first night... and managed a second seating!!!!! Hugely successful for years... until Seb, his mum and his aunty had had enough of the long hours and sold up.

17.01.2022 Actually, I don't have a sister. All three of my brothers were supposed to be called Susan, but my poor parents didn't get the daughter they wanted. And this poster was never produced... like a lot of my favourite pieces. There had been a terrorist attack somewhere and no one wanted to mention bombs. Sadly, I'll probably never get the chance to use it.

15.01.2022 I miss this restaurant like crazy!!!! Seb Bosch was willing to do things most wouldn't. One of my favourite clients ever.

11.01.2022 If you don't get attention you could be giving away a free BMW with every main course and no one will know... but it takes a special kind of client to allow something like this. Ballsy by the client (Seb) but it paid off in spades.
