22.01.2022 A scene I put down for the Actors Union. Taken from the movie 'Date Night' with with Steve Carell and Tina Fey. One of my best scenes of late I felt, including great feedback similar from my wife (reading as Tina Fey's character) and a US Casting Director that this was submitted for. 18.01.2022 I am just listening to this episode through Off Camera, fantastic so far. Was really interesting when David commented on where the world is at (May 2019) in relation to climate change etc, and he said that perhaps the world just needs to take a day off. All the planes flying around, everyone in the city rushing around with the "I've got work to do" attitude. David said, the world just needs to stop for a day or so! Wow, how's that for hindsight considering the current Covid crisis we're in and the positive climate conditions arising from the shutdown around the world.

Loved filming this, loved the role, and loved the end result. If you haven't seen it, give it a go, it's worth it. 09.01.2022 Ok, I'm sorry, but I'm going to THROW down my negativity here, my oh, wo is me, why am I doing this acting thing, I'm obviously hopeless. I went this month with a monologue for my StageMilk online drama, the Newsroom scene 'America Isn't the Greatest Country Anymore' scene. This month, is "Accent Month", so I was 'trying' my US General American Accent. I 'thought' I had this whole monologue down pat, but putting it to camera, and trying to put my very limited US accent trai...ning into it, turned the whole scene into a pile of dung! I will admit, I'm struggling on the accent, I'm tone deaf if there is such a thing, and I'm plodding through both the StageMilk training and my paid course thru American Accent Freeway, but I'm struggling. And now I'm in the conundrum of, did this suck because I was trying to US accent it (which really I feel went by the wayside) or did it suck, cause I just suck! Hmmm. I so wanted to make this piece work, and now I feel like, I know why I haven't scored a professional role yet, ........................... cause I suck?

07.01.2022 Hi all; I am running a not for profit scene class now in Adelaide. Encouraging my fellow creatives to get in front of a camera regularly to practice their techniques, to improve for when the real audition comes along. Please feel free to tell your friends and fellow creatives, share the post, get the word out. Thank you. AASC is booked and ready for next month. 16th November 7pm to 10pm in Glenelg. $15 for actors to practice a scene or monologue to camera with peer review. $5... to audit. Practicing your audition skills is the best way to walk into a real audition and nail it. In the US many actors (even current stars) practice weekly in scene classes. So you need to be doing something like this on a regular basis. That is why I've set this up. I do this as a not for profit endeavour, hence you will not find a similar event priced like this. Great feedback from Jeff, he's seen my acting go from strength to strength to where I'm at now. Also, received feedback from a US Casting Director for a self test submitted and was given fantastic support in my delivery and very castable in the role portrayed.
