18.01.2022 Jess took some stunning photos for A Day in the Life of Deniliquin in 2001 and here she gives some background info on a few of her images.

14.01.2022 The next A Day in the Life of Deniliquin is one year away! On the 9th March in 1990, 2001 and 2011, community members took to the streets and documented life in Deniliquin. In 2011, photos from all three years were exhibited, giant posters were pasted up around the town and a website archive of photographs created. On Tuesday 9th March 2021, we're going to do it all again. If you'd like to have a hand in organising it, send us a message. If you want to participate, keep an eye on this page for updates.

14.01.2022 And the exhibition rolls on...Now showing at Balranald Gallery. Great to see the photos getting out and about...

12.01.2022 So, cast your minds back to 1990.... Bob Hawke was voted back in for another term, the 80 Series Toyota LandCruiser was released, and Joan Kirner became the first female Premier of Victoria. Here is a glimpse into what was happening in Deniliquin...

12.01.2022 Another great photo opportunity is the Conargo Shire Photographic competition. The entry deadline has been extended until Friday 2nd March so have a look at their website for details http://www.conargo.nsw.gov.au/index.php

11.01.2022 Cop an eyeful of these gems from 1990! You wouldn't believe what we have found this week.... From the vast treasure trove that is the Deniliquin Historical Society; the lovely members have unearthed a very well preserved box of Day in the Life of Deniliquin photos from 1990. Can you guess where these were taken and who these people are?

11.01.2022 Just wanted to say thanks to all the people that have liked the page in the last week (259!), and are still looking at these images, 4 years after the project has finished (for this decade) For a look at the whole body of work, dash on over to... http://www.dayinthelifeofdeniliquin.com/ Join us in 2021 to document the town for the fourth time... (Nina & Kate)

11.01.2022 Here are the dates and times, if you wanted to catch it while it is on the road

09.01.2022 Where were you on 9th March 1990, 2001 and 2011? A Day in the Life of Deniliquin is a unique ongoing project that celebrates connection and the resilience of rural communities. And it is happening again in 2021!

04.01.2022 I can’t believe it’s been eight years since we launched the Day in the Life of Deniliquin 2011 exhibition. We had such great community support! I’m already starting to thinking about the next one - 9 March 2021. Mark it in your calendars.

03.01.2022 One of the most interesting things about #dayinthelifeofdeniliquin is that the images tell such an insightful story about how many things change in our community, some still stay the same (in a good way) @nevilleladson

03.01.2022 A Day in the Life of Deniliquin is returning on 9th March 2021. Share and like this page for updates.

02.01.2022 And just as we were putting the 'Day in the Life' baby to bed.......... out from the woodwork comes a whole bunch more photos that we thought were lost to obscurity. Thanks to the Deniliquin Historical Society for scratching through their filing system, now 6 months later we have found gold... Stay tuned for a new collection of FB only images.....
