19.01.2022 A massive thank you to Greg from Insync, for spending the whole of Saturday afternoon working on the weather station at the Daylesford Fire Brigade. His computer and internet knowledge won out and he managed to get all the addresses, program and connections sorted - and then refused to charge us. This weather station is essential for firefighting planning/tactics as it provides wind speed, direction , temperatures etc in the fire season and also provides the community with the Daylesford current weather and records. Thanks again Greg and I hope those who use the WeatherLink remember you when they need assistance with their computer problems. Paul Anderson - secretary

18.01.2022 A great day for the local community - 8 Daylesford Fire Brigade volunteers who have spent hours and hours training for more than a year under the watchful eye o...f Captain Alistair Grant, passed their Rescue accreditation and can now attend vehicle and other industrial accidents. Thank you to the many residents who donated old motor vehicles for training and congratulations to I Kisonas. G Webster, J Tucker, A Faulkhead, J Mitchell, G Ralphs, R Yanner and K Manning. See more

01.01.2022 The strength of motor vehicles today - the DFB attended a MVA - in case there was a fire - where a car had crashed into a gully in Hepburn. It was so far down the gully that the tow trucks could not pull it out and a heavy crane was brought in to lift it out - and the driver had walked away!
