04.01.2022 Over 5 million hectares where burnt last summer. Were you prepared? Please visit us this Saturday 19th September and Get Ready for the bushfire season. The Kurrajong Shed will open 10am to 2pm Saturday. Please come and visit and chat to us about preparing for the Bushfire Season.... Due to Covid 19 requirements, there are less activities at the shed but that won’t stop us having an important conversation about preparing your property. If you cannot make it, let us know how we can assist. We will even drop off some details to your house.

03.01.2022 The shed is open for Get Ready Day until 2pm - if you have any questions, please pop in & visit us!

01.01.2022 Today we held a Thank You Civic Reception for Hawkesbury RFS as part of Emergency Preparedness Week. We wanted to thank all Hawkesbury RFS members, volunteers a...nd staff for everything they have done for the Hawkesbury over many years, and particularly what they did during one of the worst fire seasons ever seen in the Hawkesbury this year. The Mayor presented Hawkesbury RFS volunteers with Thank You Frames which were made from more than 3000 thank you cards from people who signed them at our events and Council facilities during January and February and from schools across the Hawkesbury. The messages in the frames were a touching reminder of how much we all appreciate everything the RFS does for our community and we hope they are hung in the fire stations to remind RFS members that what they do means so much to us. A second reception will also be held this evening and we will post some photos of our fabulous RFS members. #TYFYS #HawkesburyRFS #hawkesburylocals
