12.01.2022 The BKC wants to continue to provide a safe and healthy environment for all its members. In light of the current situation with the Coronavirus, we are taking t...he following preventative action. All members should keep themselves up to date with any advice from The Victorian Health Department and other relevant Government authorities in relation to the Virus, and act accordingly. We have no current knowledge that BKC members are at any increased risk due to our activities. If anyone displays any cold or flu like symptoms, or is in direct contact with someone who does exhibit such symptoms, they should NOT COME to training. This is good practice irrespective of the Coronavirus situation. They should then stay away from training for at least 14 days, on current advice. If anyone displays such symptoms whilst at training, they WILL be sent home. For children, their parent or guardian will be contacted to collect their child. The BKC will encourage good personal hygiene through the washing of hands prior to, and after training. These preventative measures are subject to change as further advice and information becomes available. Dr Barry Packham President and Founding Member BKC

08.01.2022 Beach Training was enjoyed by everyone who attended. As usual the kumite in the sea was the highlight of the day with everyone who fought being dumped into the sea. I wish to say a big thankyou to the Daylesford members Rod, Kira, Jessica and Taj for helping make the weekend a success.

02.01.2022 Beach Training 2020. Saturday morning training on the beach involved 25 basics and ippon kumite. After lunch we ventured up to mariners lookout. The runup was won by Taj. When the stragglers arrived we practiced kata, then we walked down to the beach to perform or bo katas on a very narrow strip of beach and then wr finished off with kumite in the water. Overall a great day of training. Thankyou Shihan Troy for providing us with a challenging time.
