19.01.2022 NSW Health have issued new guidlines for access to nursing homes. Please see the attached requirements for access to the Loreto Home of Compassion and Mary Potter Nursing Home. Changes include the addition of PARRAMATTA and FAIRFIELD to the list of excluded LGAs.... Also, staff and visitors who have visited loctations on the specific listed dates (as per below link), should be excluded from facilities for 14 days from their visit. https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates As always, our fantastic staff are doing their best to ensure the health and wellbeing of our residents. 09.01.2022 NEW VISITOR ADVICE EFFECTIVE 24/12/2020 Further advice has been received from NSW Health regarding visits the residential aged care facilities with some easing of restrictions in time for Christmas. This is great news for our residents and I know we can count on your support to ensure we meet the current regulations.... Until further notice all staff and visitors must wear a surgical mask whilst in a residential aged care facility. Until at least 11.59pm on Wednesday 30 December 2020 up to two visitors from Greater Sydney excluding Northern Beaches LGA are permitted to visit residents. in residential aged care facilities in regional NSW. There are no restrictions on people from regional NSW visiting residents in regional facilities. All visitors will still be subject to our wellness screening and must make an appointment for each visit. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
