24.01.2022 As our club strips are handed out for this season its important to know a little about its features.

23.01.2022 This Weeks Springs Medical Player to the week is Codie Chapman. We were blessed to receive Codie last season and he's very quickly fitted into the Saints culture. He's committed on the training track, works hard away from the club and is always positive and attentive at training. Codie made crucial saves and showed great decision making in both his U12 and U14 games at home yesterday. 2 games back to back showed great support for the club and great concentration. ... One to keep an eye on for the future. Keep up the good work Codie.

18.01.2022 Daylesford & Hepburn United U12 Open Write Up: VS Vikings, at Home. A proud day to be a parent. As a result of BDSA not being able to run a girls competition our girls are playing in 12s open this season. ... On arrival at the ground this morning there were a few nerves amongst us especially when we saw some of the opposition were as big as Zoran! A nice socially distanced turnout of DHUSC supporters watching our girls take on Vikings. The game starts at the speed of next level but our girls quickly adapt and go with the play led by Maddie and Ellah up front. Ava, Liv and Zara blocking up the middle and taking on their much fancied opposition. Nookie, Stevie and Neisa working hard in defence. With our usual goalie Imi still in a moon boot and star midfielder Eve injured we thank Codie for the sterling job he did filling in today. We held them out until late in the first half and went into half time 1-0 down. Thanks Em for the lovely Sierra, Ruby, Mackie, Tilley and gun recruit Lyla on and we played valiantly but were scored against twice more, but then a magnificent piece of play by Maddie and bang in the net for a goal of our own. Whistle for the end of game. 3 -1 Loss but heads held high. I am so proud of the girls for stepping up and the way they played today. Absolutely awesome. Thanks to Coach Z, Prez Josh and all our families for making it all possible.

16.01.2022 Springs Medical Player of the Week Eve Righetti This was Eve's first full game in goal. Despite having only just being passed fit by club doctors (see taping on legs), she fought on and was dynamite in goal.... Eve made a number of great saves, put herself in dangerous situations to protect her goal, and clearances which put us on the front foot. Congratulations eve, for a wonderful performance. See more

06.01.2022 Match Reports Rnd 1 - Juniors 12/07 Congratulations to all our junior players for their enthusiasm in our return to football yesterday. U9s : travelled to Vikings in a lively high scoring tussle. Congratulations to Jay Leong for scoring on multiple occasions. Well done to our first time players Joey, Rose, Abby & Hartley all improving with time in the park. It would seem we have unearthed a genuine talent in Emma Koleski who scored 3 times in 4 minutes. The club is keen to ...secure her on a long term deal in order to stave off foreign raiders such as PSG’s women’s team. Thanks Hiroshi & Parents. U11s: also Travelled to Vikings and showed real promise for an entertaining season ahead. Not only was the football pleasant to watch but the team managed to score on 5 occasions with Luka Bayonas, Jasper Fergusson-Batte and Felix Lemphers all scoring 1 each, Zuri Brownscombe had a day out with a brace. Thanks John & Shankar. U14s: travelled to Vikings in what on paper seemed a difficult fixture given their grand final loss to the same last year. However, the junior saints slotted back into their beautiful ball moving football as if their had been no break whatsoever. The saints turned 7-0 up at half time and eventually ran out 10-0 winners. The score line belies the quality of football by both teams with Vikings likely to improve with time together. Day out for Monty Hughes - 5 Goals , Otis Smith - 4 Goals and Alex Schroder with one. Best: Everyone. Our U13s girls were hosted by Ballarat Sc for a tight 1-1 draw in their Exhibition Match. Looking forward to seeing more football from them this season. Thanks to our Hosting clubs for making our teams welcome and turning on great days in the challenging conditions now imposed. It was great to see the Juniors back and smiling.
