24.01.2022 DONNYBROOK THEATRE TROUPE Due to the patronage that we have at the Donnybrook Theatre Troupe, we feel it is our Duty of Care, to now defer the show "39 Steps", which was to be performed in May, to a time when everything has settled down due to the current health concerns. We will be performing this show as soon as the environment is back to normal. To ensure you get the excellent show that we always give you, we will continue rehearsals one night per week. 21.01.2022 We would like to welcome three new Troopers who have joined us recently. Alan Coxall has taken on the sound. Sarah Hornsey is in charge of costumes. John Hiscox is back stage with Mike Hallet. Great to have these three on board! We are now back into rehearsals so fingers crossed we can get this show out to you. 15.01.2022 Hi everybody. Well we’ve all been in isolation and now feel happy to making a commitment to putting this show on at last ! We are looking at the last weekend In November. 09.01.2022 The CRC in Donnybrook advertised free second hand computer packages for any community groups.So I have just been down there to get one !The Theatre is badly in need of one instead of relying on cast members to bring theirs in. This will make things so much easier now !!Thankyou.

09.01.2022 The Donnybrook Theatre are on the lookout for a white milkman’s hat for our next play .Do you remember many years ago the milkman used to wear a white coat and the white cap ? 08.01.2022 Due to the Covid-19 the Donnybrook Theatre Troupe adhered to the isolation rules and deferred the performance planned to have been in May. We are now preparing for the next performance to be held late November, early December. Things are starting to move now with preparation and rehearsals commencing again. The famous 39 STEPS is a funny, thrilling and a bit spooky play with a mysterious plot, leading to an interesting finale. There will be further details and information the coming months so keep it in mind and look forward to an entertaining experience with local actors and crew

We need 2 more actors 1 man (any age) and 1 lady (mid 30’s) for fun parts Experience not necessary just a keenness to try something new and enjoy the pleasure of entertaining the local community.... Rehearsals can be quite flexible according to your schedule. This could be a one off fun experience or if you’re really keen to be involved in Theatre can lead to future opportunities The 2 Act Play The 39 Steps is an Alfred Hitchcock thriller. We are looking for a costume lady to help the cast in their changes ,as this next play has many many of them and the cast need help.A basic knowledge of makeup would be helpful too. 02.01.2022 WANTED - 2 LADIES FOR OUR NEXT PLAY The Donnybrook Theatre Troupe are still looking for 2 ladies to take part in the next performance coming up in May Alfred Hitchcock’s story The 39 Steps. The play is an exciting thriller and the actors we need will have a lot of fun. The parts aren’t huge, and it would be good if the ladies are in the age bracket of 30 40.... 02.01.2022 The next performances from the Donnybrook Theatre Troupe are in rehearsal mode and taking place 27, 28 November and 4, 5, & 6 December. This show is very unique, the famous 39 Steps. Come along and watch the clever stage setups and characters. Some actors are playing up to 13 characters, often requiring quick and clever changes of hats and costumes, the stage alters from Hotel Rooms, London Palladium, train carriages, aeroplanes all made up with imaginary furniture an...d quaint features. Bookings are available now at the Donnybrook Newsagency for shows on 27, 28 November and 4, 5 and 6 December.
