23.01.2022 Today the organising committee put the finishing touches to the DCD12 conference. Pre-conference events begin on Tuesday on Notre Dame campus (free for registered delegates or small fee for non-delegates). Welcome night on Wednesday at Notre Dame, before the conference begins Thursday morning at The Esplanade Hotel.... If you haven't booked your conference dinner at UWA or bus transport (Friday night), places are capped and we will be unable to take new bookings after the morning session on Thursday. Look forward to welcoming delegates to DCD12 next week.

20.01.2022 CALL - LATE BREAKING RESEARCH! A call for LATE BREAKING RESEARCH abstracts is NOW OPEN for DCD12. Accepted presentations will showcase novel, ground breaking emerging research. Call OPEN 1 June 2017... Call CLOSED 9 June 2017 Notification 16 June 2017 Abstract guidelines: Abstract must be ground breaking emerging research. If accepted this will be an oral presentation as per the program session for Late Breaking Research on Saturday 8th July. Research abstracts need to be in English in a structured format (Introduction, Method, Results, Conclusions) and should not exceed 400 words. Please do not include any figures or tables. 'Working with adolescents and adults with DCD: An international perspective' Hosted by Barnett, A.L., Kirby, A., van Waelvelde, H., Weintraub, N.... We are keen for people to join from around the World to promote discussion about provision of services to people with DCD in different countries.

08.01.2022 PRE-CONFERENCE EVENTS If you are in Perth prior to the conference start there are a number of pre-conference events being run with our Keynote presenters and other leading DCD researchers on Tuesday 4th and Wed 5th during the day. - Meet the Researcher - Teaching children with DCD to ride a bike... - It may look like DCD, but it's not. - Measuring functional strength in children with DCD and consequences for intervention. - Motor coordination problems and mental health: a critical review of the environmental stress hypothesis. These events are at no cost for those registered to attend DCD12. Apart from the Meet the Researchersessions non-registrants will be charged $10 per session. All events will be held at The University of Notre Dame Australia which is located 5 minutes by foot from the Esplanade Hotel.
