23.01.2022 We are over 1/2 way through the DDJRL season. While its been a difficult one off the field we have seen plenty of great action on the field. We have 4 rounds left in the regular season.... Due to Covid, semis will be a different format this year. It will be do or die in one weekend of semi final action on the 19th September. This means : 1 v 4 and 2 v 3. Both winners will advance to the Grand Final on the 26th September. Below is a snapshot of the ladders. Plenty of great contests in the coming weeks to decide semi finalist. 10.01.2022 Wow! Hard to believe we are at the end of the regular season and about to start finals. Before we can get onto finals footy its important to thank everyone for their efforts throughout the season. Thank you to all of our clubs and their amazing committees for your tireless efforts to get our kids playing the greatest game of all! Thank you to our coaches, referees, trainers and managers who have worked around so many new regulations to ensure our kids are game day ready...! Thank you to our many volunteers who have spent hours manning gates, wiping surfaces clean, ground managing, organising sign ons for the public, ensuring the crowds are social distancing etc. Thank you to our parents who have supported our clubs and ensured your kids are at training and games. Thank you to our players who have made every game and opportunity count! So many groups and clubs decided not to play across NSW but our group decided that we should try. And try we have. We couldnt be prouder. Was it worth the effort? It certainly was when you saw the faces of all our players run out on the field and playing the greatest game of all. DDJRL has loved having Gilgandra, Dunedoo, Parkes Marist and Red Bend join the rest of the teams 2020. Everyone would agree that these clubs have been a huge success in our competition. For those not playing finals footy. Enjoy the off season and bring on 2021. #appreciationpost #ddjrl #finalsfever
