20.01.2022 Zoom Etiquette! A little tip for Auslan users: people who are not talking can turn their video off, and when it's their turn to talk, they can turn their video on. This allows for a class (or meeting) to be run smoothly!

13.01.2022 Hello! My name is Sam and I’ve recently joined deafConnectEd. I’ve been working on an exciting new project for students who are studying or thinking about studying next year. The project will be a hotline you can call if you need advice or support. The Hotline service will enable students to contact deafConnected and chat to a staff member, live, in Auslan (video call) or English (text) about anything connected to studying at TAFE or College. You might have questions about:... - What course is right for you - How to apply for a course - Enrolling and paying fees - How to organise access like hearing loop or Auslan interpreters - Difficulties with assignments or assessments - What to do if you feel you have been discriminated against in class or on campus We’ve created a survey with questions about how you would want to access this service. Your answers and feedback will impact how the Hotline service is created. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TXRNJTZ

12.01.2022 Please participate in this survey if you have time. https://www.research.net/r/StudentSurvey-May2020 Closes June 12th!
