20.01.2022 Copied from the HVCC page - The Pryde's EasiFeed $5,000 Novice saw some quality young horses ridden by some of the leading Trainers and it was immediately apparent with James Hodgman's opening 71pt run that we had a very exciting competition on our hands !! But, when all was said and done, it was Dean Holden aboard two nominations owned by Holly Clayden that took out the top honours. The winning run from Dean was on 'Manali Dualmint' and indeed it was a show high point score... of 74pts. Dean then showed 'Oak N Starlight' into second place with a 73 pt run pushing James Hodgman's opening 71pt run aboard his own horse, 'Dual Shorty' into third place. We then had two combinations tie for 4th spot with 69 pt scores, Dean Holden on Jann Simpson's 'Boons Sweet Kitty' and Quentin Stapleton with Mitch Payseno's 'CP Ali Cat' under the saddle. Congratulations to Dean and Holly and to all our place-getters in a terrific competition. See more

16.01.2022 Dean Holden Cutting Horses had a great first show for our 2020 season at the WGQHA Championship Show last weekend. Julie Jones came home with reserve in the Open on Playin With Pepto, this class was sponsored by Erin Park. Next Dean Jones had a great run on A Girl Without Limits to take the win in the Novice Non Pro which was sponsored by Erin Park again as well as 4cyte. Marley Holden won her junior youth class on A One Nerame, taking home her first buckle won for a class as... well as a saddle pad sponsored by Sulky Gully Saddlery. Dean Holden then took home the 5k Novice riding Holly Claydens Araguaney with a super run! Thanks to Ryalsea Santa Gertrudis Cattle Stud and 4cyte once again for your sponsorship of this class! 16.01.2022 Dean Holden Cutting Horses Non Pro Team certainly did us proud over the last couple of weeks with Christopher Ware and his mare Boons Sweet Kitty marking a 147 to come 2nd in 7500 NP at Armidale Cutting for Cash and then backed it up at North Star coming in 4th amongst a huge class in the NP Classic! Jodie Mearns on her gelding Maderas Lil Lena only missed the NP derby final by one point at Armidale being their first show since Toowoomba last year, then came into Q18 and mar...ked a 72.5 from last out grabbing her 5th place in a huge class!! Vicky Holden on LD Witching Hour got placings both the Novice and 7500 NP at Armidale and also had a great run at North Star to score a 74 and get 2nd place in the 7500 NP!! 15.01.2022 Well what a show it was! We could not be prouder and happier for the amazing achievements of our Horses, Clients and Team! Coming home with the Gold Cup Championship with Playin With Pepto, the Gelding Incentive Championship with Built for Sin, The Open Derby Championship with Stylish Player and Julie Jones and her little pocket rocket Hard Hat Ashlee bringing in both the Limited Non Pro Futurity Championship and the Amateur Futurity Championship!!! A big thanks must go to Ju...lie Jones and Dean Jones for your amazing support and friendship, you guys have gone above and beyond. Also to all our valued clients who we love having in our special team, Stuart Laurie, Sam and Carl Stepnell, Christopher Ware, Jodie Mearns, Paul and Fiona Selleck and Roxy and Clive Cromack. Our team also had some great success with Dean Jones, Stuart Laurie and Sam Stephnell all finalling in their events! And special mention to Julie Jones and her amazing run marking her a 150 in the Novice NP at the mare stakes. There is a huge list of people to thank, Dean and Julie Jones, your support is amazing. Christopher Ware, we coul...dn’t have got through the show without you!!! All Deans help team, for this show and throughout the year, Corey Holden, Todd Graham, Pete Shumack, Heath Sinclair,Hugh Miles, Casey Tones, Link Baueman, you guys are all amazing. Lee has been a friend and supporter of ours for a very long time and was one of the original Deans Dollys. With her infectious smile and eternal optimism Lee was always a great friend. Our thoughts are with her family at this time.

04.01.2022 We are very excited to be back in the USA for a couple of weeks after being invited back by long time friend Paul Hansma to Catch ride 2 horses in the futurity. On day 2 in the second set Dean will show Shesmyprideandjoy (Metallic Cat x Sweet Abra) owned by Miller Wade Smith and day 4 set 1, SDP Hy Jane (Hydrive Cat x SDP I Got Good Genes) owned by the SDP Buffalo Ranch.
