25.01.2022 Cheers to cracking open a tinnie of... Sauv Blanc! Yep I managed to get my hands on some delish Small Things Wine cans and you know what happens next... drink-crush-draw.

22.01.2022 5 7 H O U R S! Yep, for an A2 drawing this one took a bloody long time. Still getting used to working with colour, you can see in the video I use lots of little dots to create a smooth transition between colours. Then I crosshatch over the top with black Copic Multiliner to create the smooth tones. I'm also loving how vibrant the Copic Marker fluoro colours are.

22.01.2022 Something colourful in these dark and uncertain times I've been wanting to try one of these vibrant portraits for a long time, and what better opportunity than being stuck home indefinitely while the Corona brings the world to a halt. I'm hoping lots of beautiful creative things can come out of all this downtime. Copic Marker Australia Copic Marker Strathmore Artist Papers

21.01.2022 The longest running pro skate shoe in history! What an honour it is to have my @vans Half Cab drawing grace the pages of @grassfires Issue 4 alongside the great @stevecaballero . I couldn't believe my eyes when I flipped it open and saw they'd given me a double page spread #artistgoals The Lords at @grassfires have just hit print on Issue 4 and it's a doozy! I can't say enough good things about this mag. Good people that love the same shit as I do having a go and making something beautiful. Follow @grassfires for loads of skate/art/music stuff and kick back with issue 4 and let the pandemic pass you by. Grab Issue 4 from their website or selected stockists and newsagents. @vansaustralia @vansskate @houseofvans #vans #halfcab @ Cronulla, New South Wales, Australia

19.01.2022 Enjoyed drawing this tinnie almost as much as I enjoyed drinking it! Cheers Modus Operandi Brewing Co. for keeping this artist hydrated with their delicious new XPA Head to my website to get this original drawing for your man-cave

18.01.2022 This pretty gal took me 58 hours scratching away with my Copic Markers on A1 Strathmore Bristol paper. Still enjoying this foray into colour, it's not without its challenges, learning plenty though.

17.01.2022 Just had a nice little Friday email hit my inbox letting me know me my artwork has been selected as a finalist in the Waverley Art Prize 2020. Run by the Waverley Woollahra Arts School. the prize has over $15K prize money and this year will take place digitally, with the winners will be announced on the Friday 12 July 2020. Wish me luck! Actually, if you can spare a sec, go one better and vote for me in the People's Choice Award (I'll place the link in the comments). Muchas gracias amigos!

15.01.2022 Sometimes I just don't know what the hell to write in these captions. Sure, I could make up an artsy spiel about how I was exploring some obscure concept and how the blue colour represents blah blah blah. But really, I just wanted to draw a huge face and experiment with some colour. The blue was the only #copicmarker that I had enough ink to colour in the whole A1 drawing. #realtalk

14.01.2022 I wish I could draw this quick in real life! Time lapse of my Modus Operandi Brewing Co. XPA tinnie drawing process, drawn with Copic Marker Australia on A2 Strathmore Artist Papers.

09.01.2022 Just so you believe me when I tell you this isn't a sheet of blue paper. I actually started applying the blue Copic ink with a paintbrush before scrapping that and going back to the marker. Once I did a few coats of the blue to reduce the steakiness then it's just a simple 50 hours of crosshatching with the black markers. 58 hours all up.

09.01.2022 A quick little vid showing my process drawing a Great Northern Brewing Co. Tinnie with my trusty Copic Marker Australia pens.

05.01.2022 Drinking beers and drawing tinnies - not a bad way to spend my days in iso Great Northern Brewing Co. tinnie commissioned through Art Lovers Australia

01.01.2022 I'm super excited to be taking part in The Other Art Fair Sydney, September 10-13 at the Cutaway, Barangaroo. I did my first TOAF event in March last year and had such a blast, it was a huge step up for me and I really learnt a lot. Since then I've really been looking forward to taking part again, unveiling some new work which I think has really progressed even in the short time since the last show. This is my first piece for the show, I'm busy working on a whole series of these vibrant portraits but here's a little taste. I'll post some more details soon, but for now, Sydney peeps put Sept 10-13 in your diaries to come check out some art.
