09.01.2022 For a few weeks now I have heard people saying I just can’t wait for things to be back to normal. I may have said that a few times myself. But as I’ve thought about our current situation I have realised how much I don’t want things to go back to exactly the way they were. Here are a few of my reasons...... I hope that the next time a friend grabs me and pulls me in for a hug, I actually take the time to appreciate the gift of their presence and embrace. I hope that when school resumes and you are dropping your kids off, you take the time to thank the staff for the amazing gift that they give to your family. I hope that the next time I’m sitting in a crowded restaurant I take the time to look around at the smiling faces, loud voices and be more appreciative of the gift of community. I hope that when I am at the supermarket that I take a moment to acknowledge the necessities of life and the amazing people who work so hard to keep us supplied. I hope that I never again take for granted the ability to hop in the car and visit a friend, go to the beach, a restaurant or a movie, etc. So, truth is, I don’t want things to return to the way they once were. I hope and pray that we take the lessons and challenges of the past few weeks and create a new normal. My goal is to appreciate more, love harder, and truly appreciate the daily abundance of blessings that were so easily overlooked just a few weeks ago. If someone tells you they love you, take it to heart! Copy and paste if you feel the same!

08.01.2022 This is the hardest message I've had to write so far. I have decided that i will be stopping all my cleaning services as of tomorrow. This will not be permanent, but it's the right thing to do. Apologies in advance and I hope you understand. It was not an easy decision and I know there will be plenty of disappointed people. ... I have made this decision based on what feels morally and socially responsible. My customers deserve to feel safe when in there own homes and my family also deserve to feel safe when I come home to them. I am also finding it increasingly uncomfortable and difficult to purchase the products needed to do my cleaning. Let's face it, I'm not an essential service. Yes my work is bloody amazing but I want to leave my home only for things I NEED for however long this lasts. The uncertainty and stress of not knowing what's happening from day to day is wearing me down and I know it is wearing you down too. You may think I have jumped the gun a bit. Perhaps you think I have over reacted. And that's OK. But this feels like the right decision so I'm comfortable making it now. Here's hoping we all come through the other side of this ready to go! I'd love you to stay with me for the ride and most importantly, keep yourselves safe and well. Thankyou for your ongoing support. DEB.!
