23.01.2022 AUSTRALIA DAY There is no better way to acknowledge Australia day than with the traditional Aussie BBQ. On Australia Day we celebrate all the things we love about Australia: land, sense of fair go, lifestyle, democracy, the freedoms we enjoy but particularly our people. Australia Day is about acknowledging and celebrating the contribution that every Australian makes to our contemporary and dynamic nation. From our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people - who have been here for more than 65,000 years - to those who have lived here for generations, to those who have come from all corners of the globe to call our country home. It is also an important day as it is my Birthday and to celebrate this in true Aussie style l hereby give you all a day off lol.

08.01.2022 Role play is more than just fun; it is a very important element of your child’s learning. For children to immerse themselves in experiences and to help make sense of their world, they need to be engaged in imaginary play. When children engage in imaginary play they are experimenting with social and emotional roles of life. They are developing empathy and cooperation, as well as decision making, problem solving and positive behaviours life skills.My play environment is set up as a Doctor’s surgery, Dentist and the Vets. The children are enjoying being both the Doctors and the patients. You can see their empathy for each other and their animals developing. It is such a pleasure to watch.
