12.01.2022 One of the most special commissions I completed this year, was for Theresa in California, who has followed my art for almost as long as I have been painting. To... support me during lockdown, Theresa requested I do one of my Bird paintings for her. Mid-way into the painting, her beloved cat Paco was diagnosed with cancer, and Theresa contacted me to see if we could include him in the design. I was a little nervous on how to incorporate a semi-realistic cat portrait into this style, but it seemed important to try, and ‘Paco’s Dream’ was created. A fortnight ago, the painting made it to California, and by all accounts was well accepted by Paco. Today Paco sadly lost his battle. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this story, and help create such a special tribute. #Artheals RIP and sweet dreams Paco. Deb Broughton Art See more
