24.01.2022 This is the official government petition regarding owner/directors of small limited companies getting financial support. Even if you signed the Change petition which has more than 1/4 million signatures please sign this one. Thanks

08.01.2022 We are so excited to be opening our doors again for the practice of Yoga after being closed for over 4 months! Many regular classes will resume next week and w...e will have new classes suitable for beginners and those with experience starting in September. We count ourselves as extremely fortunate to have a practice space which is dedicated to Yoga where we have been able to implement all Covid -19 secure measures including: Compliance with social distancing of at least 2 metres with reduced class sizes. Generous time between classes so no congestion points. Hand sanitiser stations. 2 x medical grade air purification systems installed in the studio. No multi use of studio - just Yoga Limited number of teachers to ensure hygiene standards and compliance maintained. No drop in classes - all classes become a 'bubble' Many of our classes can be attended in person or via Zoom as these classes will have simultaneous live streaming. Which means if you cannot come to class due to restrictions at any time you can still attend via Zoom. Or, if you cannot get to the studio or don't wish to attend in person, you can book a 'Zoom only' space. Whilst Zoom classes have been an amazing tool to get us through these challenging times, it cannot replace the experience of coming together to practice in a group with like minded people. A full timetable of classes along with details about how to book are available on our website. www.whitehorseyoga.co.uk We look forward to welcoming you.

06.01.2022 Shared by my dear friend Lisa Petersen. This short essay, which you can hear the author reading, offers us a way to make sense of what is happening to our world right now. Do listen, it will give you hope.

02.01.2022 The following words are from my friend and colleague Peter Blackaby. Peter has a profound understanding of the human condition. Read this and take heart xx Thank you Pete xxx I’ve never jumped out of an aeroplane, but I imagine the last couple of weeks feel a bit like that.. and we are all in various stages of descent. Some spinning madly with your stomach lurching, others might have felt the parachute open, slowing your descent giving you time to think, others may have land...ed and started to find some ground under your feet. If your spinning there are a few things that it might be helpful to reflect on. Worry.. what can we do with worry? One thing is to gauge it a bit like when you practice yoga, how much effort do I need to do something? Don’t do enough and you can’t complete your intention, do to much you get exhausted. If worry is to serve any purpose let it worry you into washing your hands, keeping responsible social distance, and helping those you can. Try not pay more attention to the things that are upsetting you, you just give it more power in the same way that if you give to much attention to your sore knee it just hurts more. Transitions. Big transitions often feel very destabilising at the time; many of you will have been through one or know someone who has, The death of a loved one, the ending of a long term relationship, being diagnosed with a serious illness.. these are life changing events but we get through them and very often we get through them with something added because we have had to reach into ourselves, these are the knocks of life that shape us scar us and remind we have lived a life. Attention. Those of you who practice yoga know it is a great deal about where you decide to place your attention. Place it squarely on whatever it is you're doing. Whether its playing with the homebound children, washing the dishes or getting a grip on Zoom This kind of attention is useful it gets things done and pushes our negative ruminations away. Good luck, you are not alone only distanced!

01.01.2022 And then there’s this to watch.
